I already had this question in my head since long time now as I found that MP3.com has two ways to recognize me (I think it is the same for every band). I have DJ FYB as a band and DJ FYB as a user. The user and the band seems to be "fusionated" in certain circumstances where they are not in most of the time.

Can I say that this is redundant and not necessary!!! But I guess I will have to post on the forum section if I want to be hear adequately for this!

But my opinion is that one profile is enough!

Montreal, 05/21/2007 - I recently admitted that I will need a little break from the music creation. I did but not so as I expected and the result of my little break gives birth to two songs actually. But, they got a new inspiration as I diversified my activities in order to get different experiences (of life).

The first song - Ballet from the stars - appears at the beginning of May 2007. I decided at that moment to postpone the official announcement. This is another track of the album We Like You.

The second song as been finished yesterday and it is called Mind Traveler. This song is also another track of the album We Like You. I have to admit that I hesitate between two names for that song and I surely will use the other choice for a next song.

I hope you will find these two new songs enjoyable to listen.

I do not know how to verify this but I really feel that the traffic on MP3 as been decreasing recently. this is a personal feeling based on my personal stats for plays and download, as well as with the forums where the post has been decreased as well.

I hope it is just a little period. Maybe it is time for MP3.com to be a bit more agressive in their marketing in order to bring back their traffic! There is no many music and artists web site now (including MySpace.com, Purevolume,com, Virb.com, Revernation.com, Mp3artistsonline.com, Castmp3.com and so much more). The listeners cannot follow the market so the market need to control the listeners! MP3.com, bring back the listerners please!!!

Dear fans,

I am proud to present my new song called My Hero. This is the fourth
track of the album We Like You.

I need to tell you that I created an instrumental version of it but
originally, it is suppose to have voice on it. During the creation of
My Hero, I realize that I am not a singer and that I will have to deal
with it. I still compose and can write my songs (as the inspiration is
flooding well) but singing is another story. I am now looking for
somebody who can sing professionally - I mean, who has a nice voice to
do variations on my song (and future songs as well). I have specific
ideas where the voice will be very good but I have to conclude that I
do not have this talent by myself so I need to turn to somebody who
has. After all, I cannot do everything!

My Hero is a tribute to my real hero; my love!

Is it just me or the forums is not so popular on MP3.com? I decided to use it as it might be a good strategy - and encouraged by MP3.com on top of that - but can see that there is not a lot of activity that is going on. I feel that MP3.com is big; big of artists and big of listeners! Where they are? We need you!!!

Yesterday evening (Saturday April 28, 2007), it was my night of marketing. As I registered to several web site like MP3.com, I had a lot to do. But, MP3.com is a kind of "first" in my list as it was effectively the first one with who I registered to deploy my own songs. And than, I catch the famous message that says there were in Maintenance process and to come back in few hours. As I was proceeding to the other web site to promote my new song Imagination, I was returning to try on MP3.com couple times but finally never had the possibility to have a connection over the night (I am a night bird).

I am webmaster and understand very weel those kind of maintenance over night. This is perfectly normal. What is not is that once the service was back this morning, I never be able to upload my new song as they had (MP3.com) a Javascript error on the process. This kind of Javascript error that do not go enough in the code to let you reach the page to upload a new song properly.

The world is not perfect but it will be good if errors like that will not appear after the programmers are doing tests from their side!

This was a personal comment as I was disapoint by the service today! I should say it is my first disapointment about MP3.com.

Hi Fans,

as you read this, you are presently reading it from my user's profile. the fact is that I am much more active from my band's profile and you should actually go to my band's profile to better know me. But, where to click? Well! Mp3.com includes a link from the right-column (yes, at your right) but this is not really the target of the page. I open an issue with MP3.com actually to point that when we are a band (or a single artist like me), we would like to promote this side more than our user side. I hope you will come rapidly aware of this and will know how to recognize which user have a band and how to listen their songs.

This was a personal opinion but also a kind of alert for you dear visitors! Don't get me wrong, MP3.com is a good web site and very complex so it takes time to get better!!!
