  Do PC games get a bad rap because of our expectations of them?

  Curios:

  Most of the games that get reviewed for PC usually have lower scores than their console counter parts. I often wonder why. From what I figure it is because when one can spend more money on a video card then a complete gaming console with all the goodies.

  Now I have a decent enough PC as well as a X-BOX 360 and I like them both. I am sure if I had a PS3 and a Wii I would like them too. My problem is that PC games seam to get lower scores on average then their console counter parts. I cite Grand Theft Auto as one. The only reason for a lower score was that the system requirements were too high. And that systems with slower systems specs had problems playing it.

  GTA 4 is not the only game. I can cite more examples than not. I think it is because PC can do more thus we expect more. There are a few that reviews that cite bugs and game play. But for the most part they cite silly stuff as a reason for a lower score.
