I haven't written in a while, mainly because I've been busy with school. Being unbelievably stomach flu'd as of the last few days doesn't help either.
As you may have guessed from my blog title, I just finished Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney (DS), and it's my favorite one of the series. Absolutely spellbinding story, great characters, and the gameplay is less tricky with each version that's released. Now I just have to wait for the next one...
I tried the Roogoo (360) demo, but it came off as a Katamari-ripoff themed game without too much fun in it. Maybe because I rocked it so fast with few mistakes? I don't know. I WANT to like it, but it hasn't grabbed hold of me yet.
Found this comparison between LC and the real NYC online, and the photos show how much attention to detail has been paid in the creation of Rockstar's Liberty City.
I've been really enjoying GTAIV so far, but haven't finished it mainly because I'm enjoying the side missions and driving around, causing mayhem. Also, I'm finishing school and getting ready to move, so I haven't been playing that much as of late.
I came across this guy playing flute and beatboxing the Super Mario Bros theme, and had to share. It's amazing!
That's right. I was SUPER psyched for GTA: Vice City back in the day, though I got into GTA: SA late.
I can't wait for GTAIV. I pre-ordered it, it's my Xbox Live icon, and I watch the previews.
I feel like a little kid on Xmas eve...
Anyone else feel like a kid again about this or any game they're waiting for?
Thanks for the tag, PrincessZelda. Some of my long-time Candid Collectors' Union buddies will know most of these things, but some may come as a shock to y'all.
1) I will be Dr. CodingGenius before the end of the summer. That's right: CG, Ph.D. if all goes well. Then, Prof. CG in the fall.
2) I am *gasp* a woman. Most of my friends know this, but there are still plenty of times I'm mistaken for a boy/man.
3) I'm originally from Canada. Been living in the U.S. since 1999, but still a Canadian citizen.
4) I pretty much gave up gaming from 1997 - 2000. Just lost interest during the Nintendo 64 era, but got back into PC gaming and eventually console gaming with the tail end of the PSX and blossomed again during the GC/PS2/Xbox era.
5) I sing a mean karaoke. My voice is actually sore from a party I had last weekend where some friends and I rented a private room and sang like fiends for three hours.
I tag aspro73, soulreavercross, Dracula68, CheezyFrog, and spazz625.
I finished Bully: Scholarship Edition (X360) 100%, an achievment that took longer than I anticipated, given my history with the PS2 version. I've already sold it online, and will be saving that cash for GTA IV late next month.
I think I'll stick to Uno (XBLA) and Dead Rising (X360) for now. That, and try to earn some achievment points that I left by the wayside on some other games... That's right Cabela's African Safari (X360), I'm looking at you...
