AMC classic: original Night of the Living Dead

I'm watching the original black and white (196 Night of the Living Dead on AMC. What a great old George Romero classic. Crude by todays standards, but this 40+ year old film paved the way for zombie films decades later. It was also interesting that it had a black male character as the hero; something which was unusual in the 1960's. And the ending was quite shocking! Without this classic film, we might have never had the great follow ups, Dawn of the Dead (original and remake) , Day of the Dead, 28 Days Later, the Return of the Living Dead series, The Re-Animator, or the recently released Zombieland. So let's make a toast to the great one, George Romero, for giving us all a good scare, and making the dead live eternal on the silver screen.

A game called Ballad of %$ Tony, yet we can't TYPE The Ballad of %$ Tony?!

I'm testing to see if the word gay is allowed in our own private blog posts. Seriously though, isn't it ridiculous that we get all this info about this game and its gratuitous content, yet we can't even type the words %$ Tony' in a message here on this website? I'm scatching my head on this one...

Edit: Nope it doesn't work. How Stupid is that!?

    Uncharted 2 complete. Verdict: awesome.

One of the best single player games I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. It ranks right up there with Resident Evil 4 and Half Life 2 as one of my faves. Excellent dialogue, great humor, and gorgeous graphics. Not to mention the multiplayer is great. This is the best third person shooter (sorry Gears) I've played. I love climbing while shooting, and the maps have lots of great hiding spaces to surprise enemies. Lots of modes and excellent wepons and controls, too. This is a frontrunner for Game of the year, and nothing more needs to be said.
