Today, my English Period needed to go to the Computer Lab to type up Introductions for my Literary Analysis of Great Expectations by Charles Dickens. I was looking through my personal folder in the school because I was waiting to receive my rough draft I wrote out from the teacher. I was clicking through all my files, and an alarm started to go off.
"That's the fire alarm..." said one student. Mr. J, the English teacher, had no clue what was going on. He stood up slowly, and looked for his grade book. Everyone had a confused look on his or her face because Mr. J. then said.
"Hold on guys. Sit down. Let me look at the map to see where we are heading off to." He walked to the map on the side of the door, and used his finger to follow the line that marked the exit strategy. "Okay... We need to go through that door." He pointed to a door that was right next to the Computer Lab. All the students walked out of the door slowly, and exited the building. Whenever there is a fire, the whole school must go out to the football stadium's bleachers and sit with their teacher.
As we were walking, my friends in English, Tracey and Tori, were joking how slow Mr. J. took to find out what we needed to do. "Jeez! Did you see how slow he walked? I would've died if he took any longer! But I got my purse with my cell phone and debit card!"
"Tracey...You do know you are not suppose to bring anything out with you when there's a fire." I said.
"Uhhhh....Opps!"
I saw a police officer examining all the students and teachers walking to the football field.
"This is just a drill, I saw that police officer this morning roaming the halls..." I told Tori and Tracey.
"Great...We have a fire drill when it's less than 40 degrees!" Tori whined.
Mr. J. is such a bright teacher in English, but when it comes to exit strategies, he phails. xD

I've found a contest on Worth1000.com of photoshopped video games.
Beta Busts 6: Video Games That Never Got Made
My favorite of the bunch is Larry King.
Many designers have great talent on Worth1000. ^_^

First hour of the school day, and I am in my clasroom of Honors Biology I. I had just finished giggling after Tyler, one of my clasmates, just scared Kevin when he came back into the clasroom from his drink of water. Kevin needed water because he had the hiccups... I continued on working, and the announcement speaker chimed at 8:30 A.M., and the whole ****looked at it.
"Students, teachers and staff. This is a Code Yellow. This is not a drill. Teachers please lock the doors of your ****rooms, and wait until I have given you the permission to leave." - Principal
Mrs. B., my Biology teacher got up from her seat, and looked out the door of the hallway. She came back in and locked the door. "They're doin' a drug search." Everyone started to talk at once. Mrs. B. went back to her desk and read the information on "Code Yellow". While Mrs. B. was reading, one kid stood up and looked through the door's window. Through the door window, the window outside can also be seen.
"Oh. There's one. No, two. No, three. No four Police SUV's with doggies!" said Nick. Our clas thought this was hilarious, so students started to make jokes.
"Uh, Mrs. B., can I go to my locker? I, uh left my opium in there." said Sam.
"No, Sam. You left your Poppy Seed Bagel there." said Jake.
Twenty minutes passed by, and no one was working on their homework anymore. The bell rang to go to the next clas and all my clasmates just packed up to go to next clas.
At 8:52, the speaker chimed again, and the Principal's voice came on.
"Students, teachers and staff." A short pause. "The Code Yellow has ended, and students may go to their second hour clas" The Principal sounded really disappointed.
Later on the day, I found out two students were arrested. One senior and one junior. Both were taken away in hand cuffs.

Well, I got to miss two minutes of passing period...Which is nothing. At least my Friday was a little interesting instead of doing the same routine.

My friend came over from a neighborhood I used to live, and she brought me a gift card for iTunes. At first, I thought, great now I have to install iTunes. I went to apple.com, downloaded iTunes, and started the installation after she left.
I wanted to read each option carefully, so iTunes does not take over my computer of my regular music. The installation was compeleted and I automatically started browsing.
My first search was the group called The D.E.Y., a band that combines the music of Latin, American Pop, and Rap. Only two songs were available to be bought, and I already had both of them.
I was very confused on how everything was sorted since most Latin Pop music was not exactly Latin... Hannah Montanna was included in Latin Pop. -.-
But my angers and confusion went away when I found songs that I could not find on the internet, itself. Those songs included:
Run the Show ft. Don Omar - Kat DeLuna
Ahora Entendi - Yuridia
Y No Puedo Olvidarte - RBD
Empezar Desde Cero - RBD
Domino - Alana Grace
Damaged (Acappella) - Danity Kane
Espacio Sideral - Jesse & Joy
Todo Ira Bien - Chenoa
Mundos Diferentes - Gabby Villanueva
Here I Am - Marion Raven
Believe - Suzie McNeil
The other annoying thing about iTunes is the m4a files. I do not own an iPod because they break easily. I bought a Creative Zen. Now, I must go and convert all the songs I downloaded.
I haven't finished out using my gift card, so my balance is now: $4.11. I think iTunes is an okay program, but some perks just bother me.

I have found a great video of two of the best video games in the world. Dead or Alive and Final Fantasy. This collaboration is of the chicks of both games fighting it out to the death. No longer are the DoA girls fighting each other for glory but against the girls of FF. Each side has weaknesses and strengths.
mountyoum is one of the geniuses behind this masterpiece. The second video has already been released as well, but the story is still left unfinished.
Oh, and Hitomi is kicking a lot of ass in these videos. ^_^ Go Hitomi!
I love to use DeviantArt to stare at pretty pictures and the such, but as I stumbled on to a profile that had amazing stock photos of models, I knew that I needed to try something new with Photoshop. The DeviantArt profile goes by the username, *mjranum-stock, and real name Marcus Ranum. His website, however, is http://www.ranum.com/.
The background was made by a program called, Terragen.
Now for the story. I downloaded one of the stock images that I really liked (the fairy below). Since I do not have a pen tablet, I spent hours and hours using the Erasing Tool, Polygonal Lasso Tool, and the History Window with a mouse . Then, I left half of the render cut sitting in my folder for a whole month. Last night, I grabbed the Terragen image I made and my half completed render, and continued working. I spent a few hours moving in different elements, and finally finished when I placed the text.

I have never done photo retouch like this, and I really love it. ^_^
