I Have thought for a long time and relized that I must hate on CNET not Gamespot, while I will return for now, I will most likely leave to join GiantBomb this summer in there epic quest to lead the world. I also hope to contiue the blog that I have built on wordpress and continue the growth of it!

So I finallly have the chance now to sit down and type up a blog post after almost the 3 best weeks of gaming ever. I now own most of the games I was waiting for and can't wait for one more. Right after I posted that blog I went over to a friends house and I played through The Orange Box and I have to say its worth the money to buy. I Still have yet to buy it mainly becuase of the fact that I am broke. Me and my little brother then went an bought Guitar Hero 3 which is another game that I enjoyed alot. I still am stuck on Raining Blood and One but I hopw to get bacck to them soon. After playing that I turn my attention to Call of Duty 4 which I also played straight through. Overall I loved the gam,e but I was a little bum about how long the game was, but that was all made up in the mutiplayer where I had a blast. The fast pace battles and great unlock system makes me want to play more and more of it. After Call of Duty my first of two outstanding preorders came in the form of Assassins Creed, the game was really well done and I loved it. The only complaint I have about it is the guards will sometimes attack when your assassinating a target and sometimes they will just leave you alone. But overall it was going to be my game of the year but then I played Mass Effect. Now I know what your thinking that it didn't get a 9/10 it can't be a Game of the Year but it can and here why. The game may have some bugs and glicths but if you look past that you will love this game. Well I got to go!

So for the past couple of days I have began to take alot of interest in Rock Band and I am now hoping to write an little rant on what Songs and Albums I would die for to play. For me there are three major bands that I really love, Phish, At the Drive In, and the Mars Volta. Here's what I would love to have.
First Let me start with CD's
Phish- Juanta
-This was the first Phish Album I ever listened to and it completely change my thougth on music. Fee and Esther although not the most popular Phish songs ever I would have to say they are fun to listen to and play in Rock Band.Though I would take one song out just becuase its to long ("Union Federal"). Along with Fee and Esther You Enjoy Myself Is the one of the biggest and most well known Phish songs even to people who don't listen to them.
At the Drive In- Realationship of Command
-If you have not listen to this album you are missing out. From hard rocking song such as "One Arm Sisscor" to slower ballads like "Invailed Little Letter Dept." this Album rules. At the Drive In may have broken up but they are still one if not 1# Band for me. There rock soild guitar and there great lead singer the whole Album woulg be a great addition to Rock Bands alreay awesome soundtrack.
Mars Volta- Francis the Mute
-Another album that chang the way I thought about music. Although not the most sucessful album on the list still one of the best, there are no words to explain how good it is just listen to it.
Cool so in my whole write up thing I plan to go through and defend each of my choices and maybe convince you to listen to these awesome band.

Its Cool and the explosions are amzing. If you wanna play just get on Wedesday becuase I will be playing all night with my friends Nick756 and SamofAllFears. Were aiming to complete the Co-Op Campaign and some Co-Op objectives.

Bioshock is great. There has not been a game that Shocked me (no pun intended) this sense play Halo for the first time. The game had such a rich story and overall enviorment. Everything about the game was great, the main thing I found interesting was the Audio Diary feature. If you have not played the game (and you should) it has a system where you can figure out what occured in Rapture by listening to the Audio Recordings left by people up to New Years Eve 1959 (I am not 100% but that is where I would guess it ends due to all of the signs still hanging saying Happy New Year 1959) through this and memorys you slowing start to figure out what happend in Rapture. Something did bother me though, throughout the game you have flashback in which people are talking to Andrew Ryan (the evil industrailist who drove the city into the ground) leading me to think that I was Andrew Ryan, which was incorrect. The true twist is meuch deeper.
After I finished Bioshock my friend let me borrow Dead Rising which is another cool game. Saving is annoying but other then that its cool.
Talk about that later

So right now I am typing from my freiends computor at 6:30 am. I have just spent an entire night trying to level up my guy in Rainbow Six so that I can unlock the Ak-47 and the Raging Bull. It took us about 5-7 hours but we finally did it.Me and two of friend hookup are stuff in the basement and started. We are also trying to level up are friend who just got Xbox Live. He so far has made it to Speacialist and is cont. to rank up.
In other new my trip to Flordia was pretty cool but I really couldn't do much down there due to the neck brace. So my dad said I could bring down my Xbox and some games. While we were down there I found this store that was selling Splinter Cell DA for 20 bucks new!So I got it and beat it in about four days andI am now going back and re-beating it becuase I love it that much. If you haven't tried it get it, it is one of the best Tom Clancy games out there.
Oh yeah and I pre-order Halo 3 on Amazon beacuse I really don't want to wait in line.

So recently I have been picking up alot of RPG's and started to finish my existing ones. Mainly I have been grinding my way through FF XII and FF X. I have come to a point where I am completely stuck on X and XII I just have not spent enough time on. Now after playing both games I started to think that I really wanna buy the other games in the series. I have V and VI also but I have really not started to play them. I am actucally thinking about getting an SP to play all of the other FF that I have missed. It looks like they have released 1-6 on the SP meaning I can play my way halfway through the series then just go but 7-9 cheap at Gamestop. But then again this will add to my neverending amount of money I am spending on games this holiday season. So I may get so time to to play them or I wil just wait till the next summer to finish the massive amount of games I have preordered
In other news I am continuing my search for people to help me out on my new project (details in previous blog). Mainly now I am searching for a PS3 fan because I already have a ton of people I know on XBL and all of my friends who all own 360's. I also have been playing alot of Saints Row lately, which I must say is a fun game but will never match the caliber of GTA SA.
So I am now going to watch some more of the greatest movie ever!

So I have been spending alot of time lately looking at what I can do to furhtur the gaming industry. I currently work at a a radio station which I have been working for for over 3 years. I have start to fool around with the idea of working on a podcast but what I need now is people to talk to for the podcast. The show I would talk about everything involving gaming and the industry. But instead of calling some "expert" I thought I would tap my greatest resource for gaming news over the passed 3 years. I really want gamers voices heard. So I am mainliy putting this bolg up to ask if anyone is intrested in being possibly interviewed. I will not use any names of te people who I talk to unless they would like there naem on the show. But after working on calling people in Iraq I really think its better to keep people anoamus just due to the fact that it draws public attention. But I don't plan to start this project until around January of next year due to the fact that I need to but some equipment and right now I am broke thanks to Peter Moore and the entire Mircosoft staff with all of te pre-orders I putdown. If you are at all intrested in a interview just leave a comment. (Please do not leave any personal information just as a matter of safety)
Thanks

So Last night I went to see Harry Potter 5 at 12:00. There were some technical diffculty's at the start but after that I had to say the movie was really good. I have never been a fan of the movies because I feel that they cut out important details. This time around they did a fine job in trying to incorperate all of the elements of the books just in a much broader form. They don't concentrate on one side story much more about the big picture. The best thing was that because of the problems at the start I got free tickets to a movie. I think I am going to use it for the new Bourne movie, it looks pretty cool.
So last night before I left for the movie I had the chance to watch the start of Mircosoft's Press show. The band that opened was pretty good but the Rock band thing was just dumb. Peter Moore really looked bad at the start but then start to gain his classic skill of charming the crowd. the highlights of the show for me for the Rock Band demo and the New Assasins Creed showing. Throughout the show Moore made some good promises and some great showings of games. And of course at the end he saved the best for last and showed the New Halo 3 Trailer which showed off some of the new singleplayer gameplay which to me looks great.
I really haven't had a chance to watch through the whole Nintendo press event so I am not going to say anything until I watched it through but of what I saw it looked pretty nice.
That leaves Sony who I have watched through and have to say it was bad. Nothing there seemed interesting to me . The PSP has nothing really great going for it and then there was the demonstration of HOME. I really didn't see how it was better then Xbox Live. So its a free service. To me it just looks like a jacked up version of Habbo Hotel which to me as a 16 year old kid looks really lame. Plus the speakers didn't seem professtional at all. They seemed almost to ignore the idea that the PS3 was doing bad and really just trying to make it sound like everythingis going to be ok.
Out of the two events I would have to say that Microsoft dominated overall in every way. Sony really needs to get its act together if they wanna win the console war. With all of the titles coming out for 360 before the end of this year Sony really needs some sort of killer app but it seems that they have nothing? -Captain9099(TheInsider9)

As E3 gets closer and closer I remember back to the days when I first saw this convention. This massive convention that seemed like the greatest thing ever. I had wanted so badly to go to this, this convetnion, but sadly the news came down that it would no longer be a massive convention. Instead it would be closed off to the public and instead would become press only. But there would still be the large press conferences from all of the major companies. But to me it would never be the same. Hopefully one day it may open back up to the public and it will move back to the LA convetnion center, but then again that is just a dream.
One of the main things I can't wait for from E3 is the news that comes out of it. I remeber when the Halo 2 Demo was shown and I watched it live. I was the greatest thing EVER! Hopefully this year Microsoft and Bungie will relase more details on Halo 3, Halo Wars, and the Unnamed project they are working on with Peter Jackson. If not I am sure Halo fans will still freak out until the games relaese. In my opinion Halo isn't the biggest game coming out this year. I can't wait for Brothers in Arms Hells Highway and Assaisin Creed. Both Ubisoft games meaning they will be great! or at least I can hope.
With a necck brace on for the next 20 or so day I will proably finish a large amount of gaming. Oh yeah, Everyone should go pre-order Bioshock.

Well its almost summer and I can't wait, nothing really matters anymore, just getting to thee Summers is the goal. The Good news is that I don't have a job this summer so I can play a ton of games, the bad news is I have to get Neck Surgery four days after school and stay in a Neck brace for three months. Which I am kinda looking forward to. I have worked non-stop this year and had no time what so ever to play games and review them. I hope that this summer I can do a ton of reviews and clan matches and hopfully finish all of my games that I have Bought. Here is the list of stuff I Hope (keyword hope) to do.
-Replay Brothers In Arms Road to Hill 30/ Earned In Blood (Hell Highway come out in November)
-Replay Halo One/ Two (You Know Why)
-Replay Hitman Blood Money (Becuase it kicks ass)
-Replay SSX 3 (Becuase I want to)
-Finish FIFA 07
-Finish Guitar Hero One/ Two (On Expert)
-Finish Crackdown
-Finish Elder Scrolls IV
-Finish Rainbow Six Vegas (on realistic)
-Finsh Dead Rising
-Replay All Splinter Cells
-Finsh All Full Spectrum Warriors
-Finish Kingdom Hearts One/ Two
-Finish God of War One/ Two
And then get all hyped up for Huxley and have it never come out!
