    Sorry.

This is just a quick blog to apologise for my lack of activity of late. Sorry guys, I just haven't been feeling it if you know what I mean. Most days I'm just bored and nothings interesting me in the forums, but I'll try. I've been thinking about it lately, and some of you guys are right. We can't just abandon this place because a few people left, however thats whats happening.

It's quite sad to see whats happened to the AU forums in past few months. A once great forum has been reduced to nothing at the moment, but if we work hard enough we can make it into something great once more.

As I've said above however, I haven't really felt it lately. I have no interest in the same repeated threads anymore. It seems like they've all been done before, and before you guys say, come up with your own; I'd like to say that I can't. I have nothing. No inspiration, no desire to post, no nothing. Its really annoying me because I want to help this place rebuild, but I never have anything to say. I never feel the need to post anymore and like I said its irritating. Although a lot of my favourite members have left, I still love this place and I want to come here often and join in discussions but I can't and for that I'm sorry.

Sorry that as a somewhat senior member of these forums that I never post anymore. I feel like I should be around here helping out, and from now on I'll try and see what I can do.

    Hopefully all goes well .

    Is Anyone Else getting Bored?

Is it just me or has this place gotten really boring over the last few days? Almost nothing exciting has happened. It's really beginning to bother me as Gamespot is one of my main forms of entertainment these days and my love for the place is slowly dwindling away. I don't know why but nothing has gotten me excited as of late really.

I.....oh I don't know where I'm heading with this. I just needed to express my feelings somewhere and I figured my blog would be the best place for it.

In other news, school has been really, really boring. I'm not sure why but I'm finding it increasingly more difficult to concentrate in classes. Whether its just due to boredom (honestly who cares about mirrors....dam physics ), my friends distracting me (or me distracting them), or just doing the same stuff over and over school just isn't interesting me at the moment.

Work is starting to become a chore. Up until a few weeks ago I genuinely enjoyed going to work, but recently its just been boring. I guess thats because its just come off the busiest and most hectic time of the year in Christmas, but still, its been a really terrible few weeks. It seems as if a simple 5 hour shift becomes what seems like a fifteen hour marathon.

Then theres other things like the store running out of plastic bags. I mean come on, how the hell can a store like Kmart run out of plastic bags!? That's bloody ridiculous. Its like a library with no books.

Also, in a somewhat startling trend; the number of thefts in our store has increased largely in the last few months. I mean there were three people caught shoplifting last week alone, and those were only the ones that we found out about .

    Now onto gaming news.

I'm in love with The Lost and Damned. Its everything I expected and more. I applaud Rockstar for the fine job they've done on it. Without a doubt, it's the best piece of DLC I have ever gotten. For them to include everything they did in it is phenomenal. I was only expecting a few extra missions. I didn't think there would be additional weapons, cars/motorbikes, songs and multiplayer modes. For all this to be included at only 1600 Microsoft points is absolutely brilliant. Great job Rockstar.

Then theres the quality of the missions. These aren't just poorly thought up and designed missions; they are done greatly. It looks as if Rockstar took the same time and care used to make GTA IV. The cut scenes themselves are also brilliantly done and the dialogue is excellent as always.

Also, the job they've done on improving the handling of the motorbikes is fantastic.

Its also nice to see GTA IV the way it was meant to be. Uncensored .

I've also really gotten into Fallout 3 in the last couple of weeks. At first I was greatly, greatly overwhelmed by Fallout. The world was MASSIVE and it seemed as if the enemies were too. However, the more I played the more I learnt. I learnt that VATS isn't always the answer and that shotguns from 100 meters away aren't as effective as sniper rifles . After learning some things about the game I really started enjoying myself much more. I actually began exploring. I didn't just stick close to home (Megaton).

I went from having discovered 10 places to having discovered 80 a few days later. I'd gone from level 4 to level 19 within the same space of time. Everything was so much easier; so much more rewarding. Super Mutants which at first seemed as hard to kill as climbing Mount Everest were now no chance against me and my massive arsenal of weapons. The quests were becoming more enjoyable and it came together well to provide me with one of the best gaming experiences I've had. Ever.

I think the highlight of the game for me so far has been Tranquility Lane. I loved everything about it. Especially becoming the Pint Sized Slasher.

The other day I finished Colin Mcrae: Dirt and I must say, it is one of the best racing games I have ever played. Although it isn't the longest game, it is one of the funnest and most gorgeous. The handling of the vehicles are just right. As a matter of fact, everything about the game seems just right. Whether it be the fantastic menus, good range of events, or the big amount of vehicles.

It was a very entertaining experience and I recommend it greatly (more so now because its releatively cheap ).

In the last week or so, I've gotten back into COD4 again. Its better than ever and seems easier to find Australian servers now which is definitely a plus. Its been great so far as I've met some really nice guys and established friendships with a few of the Gamespot AU members (Curtdogg and Iownyounub for those of you wondering).

Oh, and not to sound cocky but COD4ME and I are better than ever .

Well, I can't really think of much else to say right now . What started out as a simple small blog has developed into this. A big, long, dragged out blog about anything and everything in my life at the moment .

Thanks for reading guys...if you did.
