1,000th post!
I've seen lots of other people blogging that they got a post mile-stone, so he's mine. I've gotten to my 1000th post. That's 1000 posts in many random show's forums. Yay for me.
(but I do think that there needs to be a emblem for when you get 1000 posts)

The Mystery Game 2
Since the last mystery was solved so quickly, here's another, harder, one. Try to solve it. Good luck.
The Case of the Death Plunge
While browsing the Professional Photographer's Exhibition, Dr. Haledjian stopped to admire a striking photo titled "Death Plunge."
The print showed a small girl touching a lighted match to a Christmas candle. Beside the candel stood a pile of gifts. The girl was blonde, pug-nosed, adorable.
But what made the photograph spellbinding was the second figure.
It was a woman, back to camera, falling past the picture window just behing the little girl.
The caption read:
"This remarkable shot was taken August 24th, at 9:30 P.M. by Bertram Kennedy in his Brooklyn studio apartment. At the moment Mr. Kennedy took the picture, Mrs. Claire Gramelin was falling from the roof six stories above. Her body, stopped in midair, produced a startling backdrop for what was intended as the Christmas cover of Family Times Magazine. It is believed Mrs. Gramelin, who weighed only ninety pounds, lost her footing in the storm winds which reached forty miles and hour that night. She died upon striking the sidewalk."
Haledjian finished reading as a group of officials moved in his direction. One of the men held a blue ribbon. As he was about to pin it to "Death Plunge," Haledjian spoke up.
"I wouldn't do that," cautioned the famed sleuth, "Unless you want to award first prize to and obvious fake!"How did Haledjian know?

The Mystery Game!
Here's a mystery. I found it in an old book. Try to solve it! It's hard so read over the info carefully, and look at every detail. Once someone has solved this one, and if you all liked it, I'll post another. So try to solve it and I'll post when someone has the correct answer. Ok here it is. Good luck.

Blackmailer
"I don't mind telling you, Dr. Haledjian," said Thomas Hunt, "that inheriting the Hunt millions has had its nerve-racking moments. Do you remember Martin, the gardener?"
"A smilling and bowing young chap," said Haledjian, pouring his young friend a brandy.
"That's the fellow, I dismissed him upon inheriting the house in East Hampton. Well, three days ago he came into my office, bowing and smirking, and demanded one hundred thousand dollars.
"He claimed to have been tenging to the spruce trees outside my father's study when Dad drew up another will, naming his brother, my uncle, in New Zealand sole heir"
"You belived him?"
"I confess the news hit me like a thunder bolt. Dad and I had quarreled over Veronica sometime during last week in November. Dad opposed the marrige, and it had seem plausible that he had cut me off.
"Martin asserted he possessed this second will, which he felt sure would be worth a god deal more to me then he was asking. As it was dated November 31st-the day after the executed will- it would be legally recognized, he claimed.
"I refused to be blackmailed. He tried to bargain asking fifty thousand and then twenty-five thousand."
"You paid nothing, I hope?" asked Haledjian.
"I paid-with my foot firm on the seat of his pants."
"Quite right," approved Haledjian. "Imagine trying to peddle a tale like that!"What was Martin's blunder?
