Endless sea of people wanting others to notice them... anyone out there?

  Back into Final Fantasy-

  So a while back I started playing WoW after quiting FF11. Well, after about two or three months into WoW, I decided that it just wasn't really any fun for me. Certain aspect of the game are really well done and ment for the ADD gamer such as myself. However, I really couldn't get into the fighting style or the repeative quest (gather 8 of these go kill this guy and retrieve his head). Thus, I returned to the holy grail of underrated mmo's FF11. Still one level from max, my bard at is at lvl 74, as seen on my image on my profile. 30k away from max lvl and merit points, I am getting back into the swing of it, while not really killing myself on end game things yet such as sky and dynamis. I need to get to sea as well. /sigh so much to do so little time...

  Dear New Year... Please don't S**K kthxbye!

  So its 2007 finally... A new year has arrived, and for about two weeks, everything I write out with the date will have 2006 strached off with 2007 written over top of it.

  Gaming news: I will not have to buy a new game for a long time. Christmas beared many fruit, and I have more then enough to occupy my time with new games. To top it off, WoW has taken over a part of my free time, maybe about 8-12 hours a week when I am off from work. GH2, has owned my soul as well. I have about 8 games that I haven't touched from Christmas because of those two games. I did manage to put in a few more hours into ff12 before Christmas however, so floating around 60 hours... will I ever complete this game?

  Other news: Nothing else going on, work is work, back to the grind. I have my resume on monster, but I am not really looking for a new job unless something spectacular comes around. Looking for a townhouse or house to move into by the end of the year if all goes well.

  Rant: Couple of things that byte me:

  1) GH forums: We all know your fav band is the best and everyone elses suck. We all know that Jordan on expert is easy and anyone who can't do it sucks. If you ask a question, your a moron. If you think a band is metal that someone else thinks isn't, then you suck and are a moron. I think that about sums up those forums.

  2) Patching games, PC and Console. I am all for improving gameplay, but if your game needs to be patched out of the box, do yourself and the publisher a favor, and don't buy it. Don't encourage bad behavor. Its sad that we have to treat Gaming companies like a child, but when they put the minimum effort into something, then charge full price, whatelse can you do? Hit them where it hurts, in the wallet.

  3)Analyst - They really don't see the forest threw the trees do they? PS3 has got more people tring to predict its future, but they don't even have a crystal ball? People actually get paid for this right? It's simple. A) PS online must succeed. B) Publishers must make PS only, must have games C) Blu-ray sucess. Thats it folks. I predict a lot people will buy a ps3 if those happen. Where is my check please? Also Sony doesn't give two flips about this holiday season, its all about the long run.

  The Darkside

     For many years now I was opposed to playing World of Warcraft. I had many reasons not to play it, but here I am now, finding myself playing it, and actually enjoying it. I think the reason why I enjoy it, is because it really is the everyman's online game. You can be hardcore, or whats-a-mouse-core with this game. And given I have no attention span what-so-ever, this is a easy match for me. I am not sure how long I plan on playing it, but for the time being it is fun. One character I play with my wife, a troll warrior, and another I play when I am not playing with her, a gnome mage.

  I am stuck with ff12 at 52 hours. I think my ADD has came in, and decided to put a halt on that for the time being. Same with METW:2. However, both of these games I am sure I will go back to soon enough.

  I have over 110 games in my collection, but I can't get a collectors badge? I wonder what kind of freak I have to be to get that badge? I have a lot of games that I have not added yet, but its such a choar to go through the mountains of games.

  A week off again is coming up, next week for me. I don't have much planned, but I do know that I will be looking forward to it very much. Two weeks until my GRE exam, I am a bit nervous about it, but really just going into it with an open mind and hope that I can do my best, and see what to do from there.
