Movies+Games= Mediocrity

Hollywood blockbusters, who doesn't like them? Harry Potter, Bee Movie, Cars... All of these movies just suck us in and then we love them. Hollywood has never failed in making great blockbusters, making great adventures that we remember for years to come.

But then, when the game of a movie shows up, everyone flocks to the stores and grab copies. Then, they throw their controllers on the floor, as they have been ripped off. Seriously, even a die-fan of any movie will be dissappointed greatly, and no fun is EVER squished out even if he squeezes the game. We've been there, seriously hyped for the game, and then, all let down.

This is just like a "don't judge a book by its cover" thing. You see the movie, then you see the game, you'd think the game's great right? But its BAD, really bad. They just want more money, and just stick the name on the cover and, $CHA-CHING!$ instant cash! They don't care if it's great or not, they fool us gamers into giving cash. Seems like developers never put effort and you get a mediocre game. It's just like that.

Why don't developers TRY to make a decent game? Come on, you've got the prestige of the movie, and theplot to work on or improve, and all they make is a mediocre game. Well guys, it looks like they just don't care or use the movie as an advantage.

So if you EVER see a great Hollywood blockbuster turned into a game, you can expect it to be mediocre.

P.S This is a rant, so please don't get offended, there isn't any reason to!

By the way, I forgot that movie games are really, really very addictive in a charming way. I own some movie games, and I am ashamed of owning some of them.

My new taste of gaming

I have now come to loveFPS war gamesand a bit of gore.(meaning god of war 2!)I would stay strictly to Medal of Honour and Call of Dutybecause Ilikeshooting a lotBUT notforno purpose.(i.e Grand Theft Auto,Mercenary and Half-life).Also, my little bro introduced me to God of War 2 and I loved it! Except I did not feel comfortable with parents around. They would say it is too violent.(i.e. blood and chopping heads off).Sheesh and they thought Grand Theft Auto was too violent.

What I think will make Burnout better.

Burnout is all that BUT it still can be better.I'm not talking about crash mode. Its already great. What I am talking about is the racing modes.Really when you get yourself in the lead and takedown everybody on the way, they are goneWhere are they?It will become eventually Boring! What they need to do is use the advantage of the new next-gen consoles and make more and even faster opponents,or develop the rubber band effect even further.I hope they do.Also, they could use real life cars in the game.(IF they can)and get something like shops to upgrade a ride.It would be perfect.
