    Gamestop spot

Yes, I was surprised when I bought my first used game at Gamespot, and I didn't look in the case. I assumed it had the manual in it when I left the store. When I went back to Gamespot to let them know I was missing my manual, what they told me was that "they didn't require them upon trade in's". So I checked the next time, and made sure to have the manual upon purchase. Having the manual with the game also make you think that you are getting a game that someone took care of. Without the manual it may be a piece of junk, that would require your time returning because it might not run, or a stolen item that I would never purchase knowingly.

I will let Gamespot know right now, I will boyscott a game without the manual for those reasons alone. I read the manual and put it right back, so I know where it is at all times. And people don't take care of thing as much as I do, so I don't even bother buying the used games with a disc. I buy used games for my DSi . Maybe Gamespot will get wind, and rethink their trade ins. And alot of their used games are only a few dollars cheaper than the bran new ones at like Target, Best Buy and such. Some times the new games are even cheaper at retail stores, when you find them on sell or clearance. I don't trade in my games, so Gamespot doesn't have me like that. I think they take advantage of kids trading in game like that, thought. Sorry Gamespot but you know you wouldn't be in business otherwise.

What is your best game and why? What is your Spice of Life?

What do they say"variety is the spice of life". There are some many good games, I haven't had the time to play them all. I hope to include others as my gaming continues. But there are those you want to play for life. Here are some of mine.

    1. FallOut 3
    2. Civilization III and IV (I love the strategy games)
    3. Need for Speed Most Wanted (also so many race games example Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box)
    4.Oblivion (GotY Edition)
    5.The Sims I, II, III
    6. Sid Meier's Pirates!
    7. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (not a replay for me, but I loved it because I think it had a little something for gamer-variety)
    8. Metal Gear Solid 4 (also not a replay for me but I loved it) - I'm not even much of a shooter fan.
    9. Guild Wars
    10. Tropico: Mucho Macho Edition (a bit older games but I still love to play)

Maybe you can help me find another great game that I haven't looked at. I like a variety like I said, so I discount nothing.

What is your favorite game, or games and why?

Why computers are not keeping up with the gaming industry?

As long as Consumers keep buying 5 year old technology at premium prices, why would the PC makers make anything better without gouging your eyes out. I blame the uneducated comsumers for letting PC makers fool you into thinking you are getting a good deal, on what is really a watered down PC. This is how we got in touble with the housing market also. Americans will buy anything for any price as long as it is presented in a pretty package. Learn to be vigilant people; demand the best, for the best price. It's so bad, I'm thinking of building my own PC next time. I have a 2002 Gateway Pentium 4 2.4 GHz, 2.39GHz 2.00GB of RAM. I put in a 6200 Ge-Force not long ago. I'm sure I'm going to get some ribbing about my rig. But not much on the market is better than what I have now. Just here in 2008 has it become common place to have 2.00 GB of RAM. Why is it taking so long, the technology and need has been here for a long time. Then we would all be able to enjoy our games off the shelf. Except for the few exceptions where the game makers mess up. But we have Gamespot to 411 us on that before we buy.
