Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time (40/40 Zoni, 25/25 Mods, 10/10 Holo Plans)

I took the day off school today and decided to sit down and collect almost everything from the game, Ratchet & Clank: A Crack In Time. In the PAL version of the game Insomniac drops the 'Future' title, so don't get confused when I don't use that. I was about a quater into the game, with all of the Zoni so far, but ended up finishing the game and collecting everything, except for 6 gold bolts, along the way. Firstly, I gotta say that the story is amazing and I absolutely loved the ending. Very heartfelt. Secondly, the only collectibles that I'm missing are the ones that are in The Great Clock, which are the levels that I thought didn't have Gold Bolts. I only realised that you could revisit them after I finished the game.

A good thing about the R&C games is that when you're finished you can time warp to before you finished the last boss or start in challenge mode; begin a new story mode with all your weapons. I chose both, but made two different saves. I'm 75% through the trophies and the only ones I need to get now are... Finish the game on Easy, Finish the game on Hard, Finish a Challenge Mode playthrough, collect the few last gold bolts and get 10,000 points on this arcade game. Absolutely everything else in the game I have uncovered and collected (besides the skill points). I got all the RYNO V holoplans and got the weapon. I have to say, it's my fav. weapon in a game of all time, with the Razor Claws (also from a R&C game) as my second. The RYNO V plays the 1812 Overture(Listen 3:04- 3:15)when you fire it, and since it's a chain gun, it sounds really good.

Even with collecting almost everything, my play time is only 12 hours. I have all the weapons, and only two of them aren't at the highest level. I 'vanquished' Lord Vorselon and unlocked the Insomniac Museum, so the only objective that is left to be done is... get the remaining bolts and justplay it through a few more times. Not sure if I will do it another 3 times, but it's a possibility. I'm thinking of doing a speed run. Anyway, It's superb, but if you're not a fan nor enjoy short games at a high price, then you're probably best off with just a rental. This will be in my top 3 of 2009 for sure. Thanks for reading and have a good weekend.

Blog #143: Ratchet & Clank: ACIT is awesome!

As you may know, I got Ratchet & Clank (Future): A Crack In Time. Trivia: It's not called 'Future' in Australia .

I've been playing it a lot, and making sure I collect every Zoni and do every mission before I press on, so I just got to the 4th sqaudrant thingy. It's a balance of Ratchet platforming, Ratchet shooting, and Clank puzzling. I'm a big fan of all of them, but the Clank section's would be my favourite. Out of all the R&C games, this would definately be my second fav. right next to 3: UYA. I'm thinking a lot about my GOTY and before I do my top 5 of 2009 I need to check out Uncharted 2 and Assassin's Creed 2, but this game right here, Ratchet & Clank, will definately be on that list. What I am having a hard time with is deciding what number 5 should be. Prototype? Remember, I only have a PS3 anda Wii, and am very limited to games. No Street Fighter IV, no Halo 3: ODST, no Brutal Legend. I only buy around 5-7 games a year depending on if I'm saving my money for other things. Thanks for reading and have a good night.

    Blog #142: Today's my birthday!

Yippee! I've been playing A Crack In Time, and it's awesome. Yup, just a quick blog to tell you all that I am now officially... 15! Bet you thought I was younger/older didn't you . My voice still sounds like a 13 year old so if you're playing with me online don't be frightened .

Yet another weird clip. I made it myself, in Flash 8, then used a voice over program to do the voices (which I also did).

Yes, it is very random. It's just a weird animation I made and thought I might as well upload it. What do you think of it? Haha.
