Saw a movie in theaters, and now I'm gonna review it.
So I went to see a movie today. It's an animated movie (obviously, lol), and I thought it was a really good movie. But let's get to the review.

Fantastic Mr. Fox
Studio: 20th Century Fox, Regency Pictures
Starring: George Clooney, Meryl Streep, Jason Schwartzman, and Bill Murray
Genre: Animated comedy
Sub-genre(s): Movie adaptation
Director: Wes Anderson (The Life Aquatic, Bottle Rocket)
MPAA: PG
Reason: Action, smoking, and slang humor
Year: 2009
Huh. This is new. Me reviewing a movie that has just been released for one and a half weeks now. Anyway, some people will think that this movie doesn't look all that good. Well, when people see this movie, they will think wrong, because this movie is pretty good by today's standards, and it proves that stop-motion animation is still going to this day, and this is also 20th Century Fox's first stop-motion film.
Fantastic Mr. Fox is, as I said, 20th Century Fox's first stop-motion film based on the children's novel by Roald Dahl, whom you might know as the author of the famous book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The film isabout...well...a fox (played by From Dusk Till Dawn'sGeorge Clooney), that says to his wife (played by Mama Mia's Meryl Streep)that he'll give up stealing chickens and find another job. HOWEVER, while he writes for the newspaper, he sneaks out and steals chickens in secret. Pretty soon, the 3 farmers catch on to this and will try to attempt to stop his invasion. Problem is, he's a fox that they can't outfox, and eventually things go downhill for them.
So, the animation and story are well done by today's standards. The movie is pure eye candy, and the characters are quite likeable. I especially like the voice acting. George Clooney's speech is definitely recognizable if you have watched his previous work, such as O Brother, Where Art Thou? or From Dusk Till Dawn, proving that he's a smooth talker. There's also a running joke where instead of saying every single swear word in the book (even "god' and "crap", and this is PG-rated people), they say the word "cuss". Example, Why the cuss do they have to say "cuss" out loud, without finding another appropriate cussing word to say? No, that's not an actual movie line.
Oh yes, and I almost forgot. The music. It's also pretty good, but I love the soundtrack that features Nancy Adams, The Beach Boys and many other music artists. The soundtrack fits perfectly. I believe my favorite song is "Love" by Nancy Adams, because it's from my favorite Disney movie "Robin Hood", in which a fox is the main character that steals. That alone, is a pretty accurate reference. The Beach Boys' "I Get Around" is at a close second place. As for the original music score, its nice, and it fits the mood where Mr. Fox and his friend sneak around the farm. Overall, the music and soundtrack get a plus.
Overall, this is a great movie to watch for any age range. If you haven't read the book like I have, you will probably want to read it after the film is done. It's that good of a movie. I do expect 20th Century Fox to make more stop-motion films like this in the future...just as long as they stop making crap like Dragonball: Evolution.
8/10 GREAT!!!

I think I just sat through the GORIEST movie I've ever seen.
I'm speechless. I can't really say anything about it. This is Peter Jackson's goriest flick out there. Before I begin this short review, you probably know Peter Jackson for directing The Lord of the Rings trilogy and most recently, the remake of King Kong. But can you imagine him directing something like this?

Dead Alive
Studio: Trimark Films, Wingnut Films
Starring: No one special
Director: Peter Jackson
Genre: Thriller
Sub-genre: Gorefest
Rating: R
Reason: An abundance of outrageous gore
Year: 1992
Believe it or not, this movie has the title as "The mother of all horror films", and it definitely shows. This film is nothing but over the top gore. Also known as "Braindead" outside of the United States, this film is known for its outrageous amounts of gore. What's the plot, you ask? Well, it's about a bumbling young man named Lionel and his girlfriend Paquita who find their mother injured by one of the animals at the zoo. What you will notice, is that the animal that bit heris unlike any other, besides the fact that is stop-motion. At the beginning of the movie, you see two guys carrying it to a jeep unharmed when a tribe interferes with their progress. One problem. The guy gets bitten on the way, which is big trouble. Once you're bitten, you turn into a mindless zombie, which is why the other guy had to cut off his arms and eventually, his head. Lolz. Lionel's mother eventually turns into a zombie, and that's just the beginning. The body count keeps multiplying, and it later turns into a zombie fest, and it's up to Lionel to destroy the zombies, as well as his mother.
Outrageous? Yes. Over the top? You bet your ass. However, this movie does have some cheesy acting, which doesn't make the movie bad, but hilarious to watch, especially the funny ways of decapitating and amputating zombies. But don't get me wrong, when I mean gory, I definitely mean that. No other movie made me gag except for this one. This movie is DEFINITELY NOT FOR THE SQUEEMISH OR SENSITIVE. Keep that in mind. But as for the rest of the crew, if you're looking for the goriest movie known to man, look no further. It's gorier than the Saw or Hostel movies combined. You can also count it as a guilty pleasure if you have a sick mind. To tell you the truth, I kinda do.

7.5 PRETTY GOOD

San Jose, the town where epic fail is taking place.
If you've been paying attention to the news, or just live in San Jose, California (or Californee if you've watched the movie"The Grapes of Wrath" too many times), you know about some idiot from San Jose got his lawsuit dismissed against Sony for "violating his first amendment rights" by banning him from the PlayStation Network in a game of Resistance: Fall of Man. Now he's going after Microsoft and Nintendo. Why? A broken Xbox 360 caused him undue stress and a system update for the Wii interfered his "inalienable right to happiness" by blocking access to a third-party program called theHomebrew channel.
Is it me, or does this guy have no life.
But wait, it gets better. He's now turning his attention to Activision Blizzard on the game "World of Warcraft". Yes, WoW. The world's most popular MMO. What's the suit about? Maintaining a "harmful virtual environment" with "sneaky and decietful practices", according to GameSpot. Now he's got Depeche Mode's Martin Lee Gore and Beetlejuice's Winona Ryder at his side, because he begged them to.
Here's the article, because there's a possibility that people are gonna be pissed at this guy forever.

If anything, I want to sock this guy in the face if I ever met him. I don't play WoW, but this guy is a disgrace to gamers everywhere by giving us a bad name. I give this guy the middle finger award.
