    Christmas In July/Michael Jackson Memorial

Christmas?. Say what?!. Lol. I just went to the A Christmas Carol train that is going thru the states for the new Jim Carrey/Robert Zemeckis movie, due out in November. Have you heard or seen this?. It is incredible. This long train and you get to go thru 4 cars that are packed with props of the movie, videos of Jim Carrey on making the movie, and a whole bunch of cool stuff. You even go into a blow up room to view about 10 minutes or so of the movie, and it's in 3-D. There was fake snow and people dressed like old time carolers and decorations. It was really just unbelieveable. Can't wait for the movie. If you are interested, you can go this link www.achristmascaroltraintour.com and see when, or if, it will be in your city.

    -----------

The Michael Jackson memorial was unbelieveable. I missed most of it, but I taped it. What I did see was wonderful. It was the right balance of proper mourning and respectful entertainment. Great performances, great songs, and some wonderful speeches. The end with his daughter talking and crying was heartbreaking. Even if you were a MJ detractor() you couldn't help but be moved and touched. This has all really just made it real, you know?. That he really is gone and this is really happening. Still so sad.

    Happy 4th Of July!

Hope you guys have a great 4th of July. If you are celebrating, hope you have a fun and safe time!.

For me, July 4th might as well be July 5th or 6th or 17th. Lol. They banned fireworks here several years ago. A fine of over $500 if you are caught. There is a show downtown at 10, but I never make it. Except for a few rebels here at night around my house, the 4th is usually quiet and like any other day.

    Long Live The WB!!

I got this link from a friend. Man, it sure brings back a lot of warm, wonderful memories of the great WB. I miss this network so much. Still gets me peeved when I think of how horrible the CW is (well, mostly horrible, as there are 2 shows I love and watch on the network.) Watching these brings back the fact of how the WB felt like home, in a way. It was warm, inviting, colorful, and had something for everyone. Enjoy :
