The year was 1997
Ah, 1997 ... was an great year! It was about then I began to love PC games for real. Sure, I had a gameboy, Sega Genesis, Sega Satrun a Playstation and the Amiga had been gone hot several times, but a milestone in my gaming history is in the early mornings I crept up to have time to play a bit of game number three before it was time to race off to school. Sigh, these were the days!

Achievements
Dose anyone really cares about them? It is evident that these digital trophies are a part of almost every game now days. For my pont of view, I have been a bit addicted to them, but now my interest for it is weak. Does anybody really see the achievements? Is it really any of you readers who checks out other people's profiles to see what gaming progress they have, Or what mistakes they have committed? Or are they for me, so I can see what I did in the game?
Achievements feels like a desperate way for developers to get a free ride on the success of social media. Everyone wants to be part of the social movement. "Hey, look! Your buddies have done this ..." Meh.
I even think that these awards can sometimes ruin the game experience when they set goals that players will try to achieve, and thus will affect the way we play. Then the developers analyze what players do in the games, and they will draw conclusions from these customized game behavior, and then the next production to be tailored to those made lessons, and you get Achievements - all of which do not care - an undeserved importance for the whole medium.
Remember, I do not hate them, i'm no that quite dedicated, and it dosen't bother me as mush. I just think they are useless additions that nevertheless required some effort to put in place. -

End of the Line 2011
One time is nothing - twice is a habit. Are you supposed to believe that three times had become tradition, then? This is my life as a blogger.
Number of games played: Except from several games played on consoles I finally have enough hardware to get on the big ones, I've have collected bad and good-looking games over the years as frustrated laptop user. With great deals here and there and the accessibility on Steam I get new titles in my collection faster than I manage to complete the ones I allready got, but it strikes as a luxury problem for me right now.
Number of books read: 3 is Ridiculously low for someone who claims to love literature, during 2011 I have spent my free time infront of the computer screen when such vacancy existed.
Number of viewed films: Allot! Have lost the count. But here are some of them. Super 8, Pirates of the Caribbean 4, Real Steel, Twilight 4 Breaking Dawn. The biggest suprise for me was Tintin:The Secret of the Unicorn, A masterpiece in my opinion.
Number of new records: No idea. I Love music but havent bought many cds this year, I have been using Spotify lately. With a few hundred CDs on the shelf (bought the original, of course), theres already enoughto keep the ears quite busy.
Number of new jobs: Nada. I sit down in the boat. Although there are probably more fun job than the one I allready have. It may be hard to change, but hey! everything is possible. After about two years maybe it is time to seek a new position within the company, anyway?
Number of new children:Zero, Im not a father yet, only time will tell. But I do love kids and it pops babies alla round me all the time. Thats Cosy!

Number of new dwellings: None. But im thinking about leaving the little village I have been born and raised in. I want to try my new wings.
The blogg in words and not numbers
Well, Im kind of new to blogging and it sometimes feel pretty lonely here at the blog section. And the lack of interaction leads to reduced blogging pleasure even on me. Sooner or later the business here may be over and then I will find another way or place to express myself.
What was best for you last year, and what's your prospects for 2012?
