What with New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Dead to Rights: Retribution, Serious Sam HD, Tomb Raider, Mortal Kombat, XCOM, and even Doom 3, I think there are some games that deserve Next-Gen remakes, some underrated gems are among the list.

  • Bio F.R.E.A.K.S.; Simply because it was unique and entertaining, but on next-gen consoles it would have a story. It would be awesome to create your own freak or pick one of a few creatures with their own skill-trees.
  • Blinx; It was a fun game, the only game where furries can create their own cat character. Imagine picking from one of a few animals. Yeah, that appeals to you furry gamers, don't it? And imagine it being less kiddy, like at least rated Teen.
  • Blood Omen; A RPG with the set character as a vampire, it would be awesome and fun as hell, right?
  • Bloodrayne; Because who doesn't like a game where you play as a sexy vampire?
  • Alien Soldier; Originally a side scrolling game, it could work at a 3D FPS or 3rd person shooter. It would be fun to play as an alien shooting other creatures, it's not something you see too often.
  • Champions of Norrath; It was Snowblind's greatest achievement, either a sequel or remake is in order for Sony's PS3.
  • Comix Zone; Would be a fun beat 'em up action game, where you upgrade your character as he comes up with an idea for a comic book.
  • Conker: Live & Reloaded/Bad Fur Day; This game was hilarious and it's great to see a mature rated game that will shut the furries up.
  • Darkwatch; A steampunk demon/vampire killing FPS game. It was amazing and either a remake or sequel should be made.
  • Dino Crisis; It was Resident Evil with dinosaurs, imagine being able to run and gun dinosaurs like it's Turok but almost creapping yourself like it's Resident Evil.
  • Drakengard; A game with great gameplay and a story about drama, violence, and sacrifice. AND DRAGONS!
  • Fur Fighters; Fun third-person shooter, took cartoon animals and gave them guns. The puzzles and character abilities kept it interesting.
  • Gauntlet Legends; It's still fun today, I can see it being better all around on next-gen consoles and with online co-op.
  • The Getaway; It was like a British Grand Theft Auto and a helluva lot more fun, I enjoyed driving a motor-scooter and cursing to my destination.
  • Gex; Similar to James Bond but you play as a gecko. Would make an interesting 3rd person, cover based shooter.
  • Grandia; I loved this game, it was life-changing.
  • Hellnight/Dark Messiah; Another first-person horror game? Yeah, but this is like a classic and unlike FEAR, Condemned, etc.
  • HeXen; It's a first person game where all you do is use magic, it was like Doom with magic, imagine what it would be like now.
  • Iron Storm/World War Zero; It had a creative story and fun gameplay but there were a lot of glitches. With todays tech, and some patience, it would be nice to see a game like this.
  • Jackass: The Game; What's more fun than launching Johnny Knoxville in a giant sligshot or throwing Bam down a sandy hill with cacti or rocks? Doing it again and more with next-gen graphics, and it would be a great way to remember Ryan Dunn.
  • Judge Dredd; Like a sandbox FPS, with dynamic AI that you can arrest or kill, turn in for money to upgrade weapons or purchase new ones, maybe upgrade armor.
  • Killer7; An FPS from creator of No More Heroes and with better controls and extra content. Plus online multiplayer, Deathmatch anyone?
  • Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddler's Green; Simply because it was one of the most fun, linear zombie shooter I'm ever played.
  • Legend of Kay; Legend of Zelda for furries. DISTRACTION! (And it was surprisingly entertaining.)
  • Loaded; Violent shooter that was simply entertaining, on next-gen consoles, it would be more violent and have more of a story.
  • The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age; It was a great change of pace for an LotR turn based RPG and it was amazing. Sequel or remake would be awesome.
  • Mace Griffin: Bounty Hunter; Because it was a lot like Serious Sam and everyone loves Serious Sam.
  • Manhunt; It was mature and sadistic, perfect game for letting out aggression. Who wouldn't want to do that?
  • MDK; Fun shooter where you play as a guy that looks oddly like Pyramid Head in armor.
  • Metal Arms: Glitch in the System; Fun game and reminiscant of Ratchet and Clank, everyone loves Ratchet and Clank.
  • Musashi: Samurai Legend; It was a fun game with dynamic slicing and with an anime feel to it. An amazing achievement that should be repeated once more.
  • Nightmare Circus; It could be like Dead Rising but with less zombies and you'd use items around the carnival as weapons. Some gamers just like to crap their pants in fear and that's what this game would do, have you ever seen IT?
  • Nightmare Creatures; Originally an action game but on next-gen consoles, I could see it as an RPG with a lot of potential.
  • Paper Boy' surprise! Imagine a game where you beat people with a rolled up newspaper, sounds fun, right?
  • Predator: Concrete Jungle; A game dedicated just to Predators, fun as hell and imagine it with better controls and graphics.
  • Primal; It involves playing as a sexy female character traveling through different demonic realms. Great stories deserve to be retold, look at graphic novels from DC or Marvel, it's true.
  • Psi-Ops; Like Mindjack, but actually GOOD.
  • Raze's Hell; Fun, mature game where you kill cute creatures, turning them into a crimson paste.
  • Red Ninja: End of Honor; A stealth action game involving seduction in a story about revenge. It was a fun cult game that deserves a second chance.
  • RLH: Run Like Hell; It was an interesting surival-action game with a title that grabs you, and it was FAH: Fun As Hell.
  • Samurai Western; It's fun to feel like a bada** cutting through people while they're using guns, imagine customization options for a game like that.
  • Second Sight; Highly undderated game that deserves a second chance, with Crytek owning rights to Free Radical games, it would be awesome with CryEngine 3.
  • Shining Force; I grew up with this RPG, I'm not just going to ignore it.
  • Shinobi/Nightshade; Fun games on the PS2, imagine them for the PS3 with enhanced graphics and a better story.
  • Spartan: Total Warrior; The best medieval hack-and-slash action game I've ever played. I would be so happy to see this game remade or a game even remotely like it.
  • Stubbs the Zombie; Great game where you play as a zombie, the only other way to do that now is play versus in Left 4 Dead.
  • Summoner; It's an RPG from creators of Red Faction and Saints Row, what more reason do you need?
  • Syphon Filter; It was a fun third person shooter that made you think, like Metal Gear Solid. One next-gen consoles, it could be amazing.
  • The Suffering; This game was fun and makes you think that it may be the game that inspired Condemned in the first place.
  • Urban Chaos: Riot Response; It was fun to kill criminals violently and you rarely see cop games that are this much fun.
  • Vagrant Stories; One of the best RPGs on the PSX, it would be tough to perfect a remake but it can be done.
  • Vandal Hearts; A simply amazing game, if you played it, you wouldn't honestly be able to tell me that you wouldn't want to see a remake on a next-gen console.
  • X-Men Legends; The game that inspired Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, it's no surprise that a Marvel fan like myself would want to see a next-gen version of this masterpiece.
  • XIII; An FPS with a great graphic novel feel to it.

Some games weren't put on the list because they got a remake or sequel. I.E. Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Persona, Tenchu, Parasite Eve etc.
