hey, thanx for all the updates
I love platformers, and I think those games you listed sure will be fun! and you know the best way to find ou the exact width?

you should have also put a verticle border of white colour on the left and right ends of the fiels.

    OR..
just make a white colour long bar of 700 Size and take a prnt screen of the thing and find out using any asic photo editor

yeah i think you will enjoy many of these platformers

thanks for the tip with the exact width...i did it the way you said and here are the specifications:
450 visible on the profile and 580 visible when you click on a blog entry.

Ah cool, BTw.. It seems you changed the Blog post completely now! I've played all of these(but snake roll) with my bro! and Goal3 (nintendo World Cup) was one of the rarest one to get and it was one of our most favourite games. With Netplay in emulators now.. it allows for online play too! its nice

my new blog idea is to have these quoted Index of Blog Entrys only in the beginning of the newest entry instead of having a extra blog entry for this.
so its always up to date and every time on top

world cup...great game...i had the 3 in 1 cartridge (super mario bros, tetris, world cup) ... i played it when i was a kid with friends with this 4 controller tap thing...very fun with the special shoots and the fouls

Oh man, Bubble Bobble and the original Mario Bros., straight premier. That original Mario Bros. game is just so funny and fun.

    yeah mario bros is genius.
there are two versions for nes out.
first the arcade conversion of 1984 and then a japan only release entitled "return of mario bros" which is basically an improved version of 1988 with better controls (you can move in air when you jump) and better graphics (the turtles for example look better)

i added wikipedia links for some additional information and a link to an intersting site which offers many NES gameplay videos.

    the last 4...
all arcade ports except S.C.A.T. which is a nintendo original similar to the arcade game Forgotten Worlds.
silkworm is fun cause one player controls the heli and the other the jeep which can jump...played this game first on amiga long time ago

Some of these I knew and some were new to me... wish maybe I had a chance to try them out as I move on to MGS4! Chip N Dale was pretty cool and Ducktales was too (but it's only one player). Don't forget Tecmo Bowl and Double Dribble though! They were MUSTS for the sports guys! I still can't find a challenge in Double Dribble

I didn't know Smash TV came out on the NES. I can't imagine it being as fun as the 16-Bit versions, but i'm definately going to look into it. I never played Balloon Fight either. I spent months looking for that game years ago, but I just had to give up in the end. Eventually played the mini-game version on WarioWare: Touched. Rekindled my interest in the game, so i'll definately be hunting it down again some point soon.
