I got the Limited Deluxe Edition a few days ago now and I wasn't supposed to get it until today... I love it!
My favourite songs at the moment are:
1. The Only Exception
2. Feeling Sorry
3. Where The Lines Overlap
4. Misguided Ghosts
5. All I Wanted
6. Playing God
I love all of the songs on the album, but so far at the minute these are my favourites...Anybody else have the Deluxe edition or plan to buy the album at any point? if so, what do you think of it etc.?

I downloaded the Battlefield 1943 Multiplayer game on Xbox Live the other day, and I am glad I did, I am having a blast! (and not only because I am blowing things up). I hope that the online community for this game goes on for years, even after Bad Company 2 is out! anybody else enjoying it?. I only have 2 achievements left now, and they are the Tour Of Duty ones... (play 30 games which I must be close to now) and the play 100 games). I only got the achievement that includes getting a kill with a plane with luck... I crashed into another guy and we both died... but I have not got any kills in a plane besides that... even after all of the bombs that I have dropped lol. I am pretty good at flying them now, but I still can't kill a soul (besides that one) with a plane... anybody else loving this game? (if you haven't get it, you should... IT'S AMAZING!).

Sure, we all love our Multiplayer games. Gears Of War, Call Of Duty, Halo, Battlefield and Rainbow Six to name a few.Weknow that they are all amazing games and the Multiplayeris what everybody seems tolove these days, as it is true!
ButI am suremost users on this website remember when games were abouthaving an amazing story, great gameplay (as games still do, of course) andwhen it would take you weeks to finish games. We all know thatsaid Call Of Duties andBattlefields are amazing to playonline and you getmany, many hours of fun out of it after you have finished the Campaign, but there must be times when you just miss havingdifficultykilling that last boss, listening to the story and knowing thatyour game will take you weeks to complete.Yes, video games still haveamazingSingle Player Campaigns, for example Gears Of War, Call Of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, Condemned and Resident Evil to point out theobvious.
Who would likefor a game tobefocused on the Single PlayerCampaign for a change (and Co-op Campaign, just so long as it doesn'tactually change the game into a more Multiplayer experience), where it takes about 15-20 hours to complete the game, many challenging bosses that are very interesting, confusing moments where you get stuck not knowing where to go from a certain point... classicTomb Raider and Resident Evil games anyone?
I still have yet to see a game from the current-gen to do this besides Metal Gear Solid 4, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Resident Evil 5 for example. Anybody else feel like this?

I didn't actually notice my last 2 blog posts had the word "finally" in it until after I thought up a title to this blog.

But basically, almost 12 years after I first played it, I have finally completed Tomb Raider 2!
If you want to read about it, read my second post in this thread!

7Feb 09I am sick of it... whatever it may be, every day I hear the same things... oh, my music taste is so much greater than yours, or 'no, that is bad, why would you like that?' for example... just wondering if anybody else has this problem every day? whether it be in real life or on the internet for examples...

I have been playing the Beta a lot tonight, and I must say I love it!
There are some amazing maps and the game is a blast! think Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare but upgraded by throwing away the old, chewed for hours on end chewing gum with some fresh, new minty chewing gum stuck inside the gameplay! (lol).
I have plyed, beaten and love EVERY single Call Of Duty game that was ever released... I played the original PC Call Of Duty a month or two after it came out and I have loved the series ever since, even the ones that people said weren't too good like Finest Hour, Big Red One and Roads To Victory!
I have already seen two glitchers though (make sure you don't read that wrong... I mean glitchers as in people glitching already, not glitches I have noticed). One involved a guy lying under the ground.... I seen him lying down and as I put a few bullets into him with a Thompson, he vanished under the ground and I wasn't able to shoot him... and he killed me. He ended up with about 13 kills and 2 deaths... why do people cheat?!
There have been the fair shair of annoying people too but you can't beat it all... once I was about to obviously get in to a tank when my team mate came and stole it... it used to happen pretty often in Call Of Duty 3...
I love the fact that Call Of Duty has returned to WWII! I love my WWII FPS games and the king of them has returned!
If you loved ANY COD before this I assure you that you will love this game. Especially if you have played COD4 a lot. It also reminds me a little of COD3 because of the vehicles.
My only beef with the beta (it may be in the full game, don't know yet obviously...), is that you can't get near an enemy tank and throw a grenade in... alls you have now is Anti-Tank Weapons (I think... haven't seen one to choose myself though), and grenades... it was a fun thing to do in COD3 but it seems to be absent here... they could always put it in an update in the full game anyway who knows... either way, of course, this game is a must buy for me (I have already decided I am getting it for Christmas). I won't be disappointed and I can't wait for the full game, the Campaign is going to be great and the multiplayer will be as addicting as always (now featuring fun dogs! better than helicopters in my opinion).
From what I think the game will be like (I have a good idea), it gets a 9.5 from me (I always give COD games high ratings though), so I have from the public the game will get about an 8 or 8.5... only because it is very similar to past COD games, but hey, that's never a bad thing with COD games!

I have not posted a blog for a very long time, so I thought, as I am listening to a new album, I thought to myself: "Hey, why not make a blog post about it as I am on GameSpot?", so here it is...
Just wondering, do any of you guys like the Plain White T's? I haven't heard too much of them but they are a pretty decent Pop Rock band with some catchy songs. I am currently listening to the fifth song on the album which is called "1, 2, 3, 4" and thus far it is an okay album, but I can see the songs growing on me. I am loving the firwst song on the album, entitled "Big Bad World", it's a fun, catchy song. Has anybody else heard this album/planning to/or even like the Plain White T's at all?

I love this game, as all of the MGS games!
I haven't completed it yet, but I am getting pretty far in to it (Act 4). I have completed every main MGS game before-hand and I love all of them. For the people who absolutely love MGS games, you are in for a treat if you haven't got it yet or reached act 4 yet. It is awesome because of reasons not only because it is an awesome game... I will say no more just look forward to the act.
Up to this act, I finally understand pretty much everything that there is to understand about the story stretching over all of the MGS games, and I have to say it is one (or probably THE) best story I have ever understood. I have only seen the original Matrix movie but I know what it is all about, and I have to say MGS has a better story than that, and the Matrix is pretty crazy.
There is so much more to this game than you thought before, so if you think you know exactly what this game is like and don't really plan on getting it even if you have played past MGS games and are not really interested in it, I recommend you DO get this game. It is amazing. A LOT, and I mean, a LOT when I say this... cut-scenes are a LOT longer than every other MGS game before it. Pretty much any time there is a cut-scene where you need to find out information etc., it is VERY long. I think the longest one yet is around 50 minutes that I have encountered and it seems like I was watching it a lot longer than that, but the cut-scenes are fun to watch (not all of them if you don't really understand the story all that well, but there are some great cut-scenes, and for those who have already played the game, let's just say "bang... bang" if you know what I mean... that cut-scene is almost as awesome to watch as the beginning of the Saving Private Ryan movie... awesome.
I haven't finished it yet, so I will give my score later, but at the moment I think it will end up being a 9.5. Intense

Who else likes this game?
It is a game that you either love, or, well, hate...
I am not one to say a Single Player game is short, because whenever I read that every game takes me about a week to finish anyway, no matter how little or much I play the game... but I, for once, do have to say that I found this games Single Player Campaign to be pretty, well, short...
It is not much shorter than any other game that has come out in the past year or so, but it is noticable, in my opinion... I must have played 2 hours a day and each day I finished 2 chapters, and there are 7 in total, each chapter having 2 parts to it (an half of a chapter is noticed by loading screens and when the screen dulls down at the end of the mission. There was a space of 2 days that I didn't play the game at all, but if you put that together I played it 3 nights about 2 hours each and I had completed the game last night. There is no split screen co-op or split-screen Multiplayer. So that leaves us with a 1 Player Campaign, 2-12 people on System Link and 32 players on Xbox Live (well, In England anyway... America will soon get 50 player servers...). The Multiplayer on Xbox Live is fun, but at the moment the game is plagued with very bad lag (if it lags at all in a match it lags bad, if it don't lag at all you have a great game), some glitches (which are, by the way, caused by the lag), some hit detection issues (noticed mainly with a Sniper Rifle and Pistol). But they are working on all of these Multiplayer problems so it's all good. The graphics are okay, not something to drool about, but the graphics in the cut-scenes in the Campaign are pretty sweet. It is not for everybody, but I do enjoy the game and I am glad that I brought it. I am actually enjoying it more than I did with Battlefield 2: Modern Combat... and in the next Battlefield game there aren't planes or jets, and they are a big part of what makes this game so fun online, and it is just so fun shooting them down with an anti-vehicle weapon. Pretty short campaign (but very fun), great Multiplayer (will be even better after all of the fixes), okay graphics and just overall a fun experience should make you want to buy this game. If you are still unsure whether to purchase this game or not, there is a Single Player and a Multiplayer (Xbox Live) demo on the Xbox Live Marketplace to download. Both demos are an accurate representation of the full, purchaseable game. If you are only mildly into First Person Shooters, then you will need to check the demos out, but if you are an hardcore First Person Shooter fan I recommend you add this to your Xbox 360 collection. I give this game an 8/10.

So, I got a few new games for my Xbox 360 for Christmas (which I have had just over a year, as I got it for Christmas 2006), and I had a feeling that my Xbox 360 would get the red ring of death just before Christmas... and it did, just over a week later and just over a year since I first got it which is weird... it is currently being repaired and so I have gone back to my PS2 for a while... I have started Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater again and I am having a blast... I actually hope I finish it again before my 360 comes back... I think that MGS3 is the most interesting story to play through of all 3 main Metal Gear Solid games, but maybe the reason I didn't say 2 is as interesting as 3 is because I have literally completed that game about 15 times now... (I got the game for my Birthday back in 2002...). I love the Metal Gear series (I really, really hope MGS4: Guns Of The Patriots makes it to Xbox 360...) I have been playing the MGS games since the first game with "Solid" in it (meaning, not counting the 80's "Metal Gear" games), since the game first came out 9ish years ago on the PlayStation...
I have just turned my PS2 off for the night (it is 02:26 am here in the UK and I just came on my PC for a bit before going to bed...). I have just got to the bit where...
**Spoilers... sort of**
You have the first gunfight with Ocelot, and then you fall down into that hole... I saved it there... love all the MGS games and I think 3 has the best bosses etc...
So, since I am currently playing a MGS game,I am just wondering what you guys think is the best one (includes every and any MG game ever)... and whoare your favourite and least favourite bosses?...
Later.

This year seems to be going even faster than any other year ever to come before it, personally... I started College in September and it seems as though I have hardly thought about Christmas... and it is only just over a month to go... I swear it is going even faster than before...
Has this year gone quick for you at all, and was there a certain time that seemed to go by REALLY fast or slow?...
(I wanted to make a new blog post since it has been over a month... wow lol seems like yesterday, so if it is a rubbish blog post just let me know

I have to read lyrics to hear any words of a song (apart from maybe odd words), and I don't know many songs' full lyrics...
Alls I know is Girl All The Bad Guys Want by Bowling For Soup, Teenagers by My Chemical Romance, Blood (a bonus track on their "The Black Parade" album), half of Can't Stop by Red Hot Chili Peppers and I think that must be it... maybe odd ones here and there... just wondering what songs do you know the lyrics to off by heartand do you have to read lyrics first?...
When I listen to music I just somehow get past the thought of thatI am pretty much listening to random noises (if you play an instrument imagine computer tabs or Guitar Pro for example). Whenever tabs have vocals in them, it pretty much seems like that to me but it don't bother me... like, say, Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana... whenever I listen to that song the only thing I hear from the vocals is "traa traa ra la fa na la stee nuhh la free nuhh yuhh..." lol sorry if you can't understand that but it just gets by me and it don't bother me if you understand... anyone else like this?...

I actually just posted this on the Halo 3 board, but I needed to share it with youguys...
Ashley_wwe wrote:I got the game today (well, yesterday if you live in England, like me...), and I am loving it. I have never played an Halo game before and I always thought it was over-rated... but playing this game has made me think otherwise!
I am on the fourth level of the campaign (on normal difficulty first), and I am a Private second class I believe on Xbox Live... this game is so addicting especially the multiplayer...it seemed like I just played online for about 25ish minutes but it turns out it was 50 minutes!
I love the King of the Hill game type especially, because you are constantly shooting. I actually just won my first King of the Hill game (I owned the hill for a long time, once it was like 10-15 seconds before anybody shown up at all... I ended the game with exactly 100 kills... great game!

Just wondering... is there any point in getting the first two Halo's (seeing as they are backwards compatible) for the Xbox 360 if I have Halo 3?... I am not bothered with the story in this game, I just like the action!...

This is the first time I have paid for anything on Xbox Live Marketplace (except for Xbox Live itself of course)... I just had to get it. I have played the three songs over an hour now...
. Also, Famous Last Words finally gives me hope of the 1000 note streak... almost got it... and I only just got the 400,000 points achievement... I got like 402,000...

10Sep 07I live in the UK and I pre-ordered it last Wednesday night (so that means I wouldn't get the game a day before release as usual), and it didn't come on the release date which was Friday (strange), and it didn't even come on Saturday... but I got it today and I am loving it... (I am playing the Xbox 360 version by the way), have completed the training and the next two levels after that... there may only be7 levels (or 6? I might be forgetting about the training, not sure), but the levels are very long and take around an hour a go to complete... and the online is good... Snipering is fun and upgrading weapons is great, I have an awesome Shotgun now in the Campaign... anybody else plan to get this game/got it (which version?), or do you simply not want to get the game etc.?... easily the best Medal of Honor game ever.

It doesn't have to be new... hell, it can even be Nirvana if you like... just as long as it is new to you... a new band to me that I love is Paramore... speaking of which, I am going to bed now (it is 04:04 am here in the UK lol) and listening to the Riot! album for the first time... later.
