I recently played through Tomb Raider Legend, Anniversary and Underworld on the PC. I ended up getting Legend again on Greenmangaming so I could play it on my laptop (no disc drive in it) and not just on the desktop (which sounds like a Jet Harrier crashing). I also got the PS3 trilogy in the end because I was getting fed up with some game bugs and other quirks.
And today I find that the TR games (all 9 of the core titles thus far) are going for 9.99GBP on Steam...nuts...
Ah well. I DID however get the 2013 Reboot pre-launch package off Steam which happens to include a free version of Guardian of Light (a game which I was interested in getting anyway)!
I have a lot to say about these three games. These games are the first in a long while that have made me fall in love with their world. I even watched the TR movies (which are excellent adaptations...albeit average movies) and the Indiana Jones Quadrilogy (from which TR draws inspiration). It's been a long time since I've combed over the post-game content in a game or played a game through multiple times, but something about TR grabbed me. I will try and figure out what and post about it later.
In other news, I've picked up the Uncharted trilogy for cheap, the Castlevania game for the PS3. I also bought Japanese imports of Silent Hill 3 (Ive never tried this franchise. Heard the HD collection was horrid so opted for the original) and Xenosaga from the ever reliable Amazon re-seller Play Import (who I wholeheartedly recommend for their speedy deliveries and excellent condition items).
