Nothing special here, just a message that I won't be on GS for while. It has nothing to do with the community here, I've just been feeling pretty miserable recently, and even thinking about suicide. I also need to devote more time to my schoolwork. Hopefully taking a break and clearing my mind will get my life straight. Thanks for all of the camaraderie here, though. I guess I'll see you in June

I've hardly played my Wii recently except for a few Gamecube games, and I must say that I don't see any non-Nintendo games I like. Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of Nintendo's console, but I'm starting to think it's just not for me. The game I looked forward too most, Twilight Princess, really disappointed me and most of the virtual console games I dreamed for aren't here. If I sell my Wii it would also lower the price significantly for getting a PS3. Now PS3 is certainly flawed, and the only exclusive that makes want to buy it is MGS4, but it also has great games like SOCOM, Uncharted, and Resistance 2. There's also all of the non-exclusive games with great reviews like Call of Duty 4, the Orange Box, and Assassin's Creed. Is there anything I should be aware of? Should I keep my Wii?

Is anyone else obsessed with RE4 like I am? I've beaten the main game 3 times, beaten Assignment Ada, gotten 5 Stars in every scenario for the Mercenaries, and now I'm playing the story once more, this time in Professional Mode. Plus now I have the Handcannon!

The last two games I beat were both remakes of Resident Evil and MGS, two of the best games on PS1. After playing the original, it really does show how broken Twin Snakes was. Sure some of the voice acting was better, but the gameplay itself was shot because MGS1 was obviously not created with MGS2 mechanics in mind. However, Resident Evil improved a lot over the original and also made the game scarier as well. It just seems more balanced. What do you think of remakes? I just feel like too many of them are made, and too many of them suck.
