  Shunned because they are small?

  Hello everyone. This is a short post about something that I have noticed just recently. Smaller game developers appear to be shunned by the gaming public, due to that very fact, they are small. Sure there are exceptions, Valve for exmaple is small but they are widely known. I am talking about companies such as Rare, Stardock, Introversion (one of the smallest) and others. COmpanies such as this make great games but the gaming public in general just doesn't seem to play there games because the larger developers keep flooding the market with mediocre sequels and just badly made games.

  People love World at War even though it is just COD4 with a different skin. People play incomplete, bugged to hell PC games that have been rushed out for profits just because they are made by a high profile company like EA to name one of the worst for poorly made PC games. Its a shame because a lot of smaller developers create excellent, original games and yet people still think World at War is something new.
