7Dec 08Well now I've only got about seven days untill I'm back in the states, however tomorrow my Russian Language midterm is due, and Thursday and Saturday I've got exams at 8:30 am. Now why, you ask, is 8:30 a problem? Well mostly because I've been waking up at about 10:00 am or so for the past three months. However, once all that sh*t is done, all I have to do is get up at 4:00 am on Sunday to catch my flight back home. Then its three weeks of relaxation untill I have to go back to school. Currently my 360 is beginning to piss me off since it now takes at least three or four tries for it to recognize any disk I tell it to play. In addition to that, having only repaired it about six months ago, I really don't feel like sending it in to Microsoft again. Which means I'll probably end up buying a new one next summer. Well time to get back to work...

Here's one of the articles from xbox.com:
In 1954, the introduction of color TV heralded the dawn of a new era in entertainment. On November 19, more than 50 years after that dramatic shift, a new era in home entertainment begins with the New Xbox Experience, as millions of Xbox 360 consoles transform in an instant through the power of software.

Your Avatar is your online identity.
A bold new future begins now, where high-definition (HD) entertainment is delivered in an instant, the best games share the stage with the best movies and TV shows, and every experience is shared with friends and family in the same room or around the world.
Industry-Defining Milestone
By the end of this month, Xbox 360 will reach another industry-defining milestone: 25 million Xbox 360 consoles sold worldwide. It has taken the leading next-generation game and entertainment console just three years to eclipse the total lifetime number of original Xbox consoles sold.
Change your Avatar to suit your mood.
"The future of home entertainment is Xbox 360—it's on-demand, it's high-definition, it's always social, it's all in one place," said Don Mattrick, senior vice president for the Interactive Entertainment Business at Microsoft Corp. "With the New Xbox Experience, we will reach the next generation of Xbox owners, 25 million and beyond. We are at a watershed moment, backed by the largest entertainment brands, with an incredible lineup of entertainment unmatched in any industry."

Browse Netflix movies from your console or PC.

Your avatar is your game face throughout the New Xbox Experience and represents your personality, whether you are serving as an Xbox LIVE Party host, playing a game of Scene It? ® Box Office Smash, or chatting with a friend.
- On-demand entertainment: Xbox 360 is home to the best TV and movie entertainment, including more than 12,000 movies and TV episodes from Netflix and a large online library of more than 15,000 on-demand high-definition TV shows and movies from global partners such as Constantin, The Walt Disney Studios, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios (MGM), NBC Universal, and Warner Bros. I have spent the last few days deperately trying to get all the sh*t I'll need for college, and cases for my electronics. Its been pretty hectic but I've still managed to log a fair bit of time on RSV2 and UTIII.
Now on Saturday I get to retake the Microsoft 70-270 Cert exam, which, for those who don't know, is basically a test on how much I know about networking. Its not an impossible test but its still gonna suck. Why you ask? Simple...if I fail it I'll owe my dad $125 to reimburse him for the registration fee. So now I have to study...when I still have two weeks of summer vacation left.
DEATH RACE COMES OUT TOMORROW!!!!!

So I entered my gamertag into Windows Live search engine and, apart from the stuff directly related to my gamertag, I found this: http://www2.sofi.se/SOFIU/topo1951/_cdweb/_s2bd001/813230da/pd/0000013a.pdf
So apparently some dead swedish guy had the same name I invented for my gamertag...

14Apr 08Not referring to the last quarter of the year when Gears of War 2 comes out...YAY GoW2!!! So I'm really goddam tired of high school now and I am seriously contemplating bringing a pillow with me for the rest of the school year. I got into, and plan to attend, Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. So...yeah, thats my life right now. Oh yeah, I'm a Major now in RSV2. Bye...

26Feb 08Apparently its not my TV thats the problem, I figured this out because I went out and bought a new VGA cable and still got the same issue. So actually I guess either its the TV, or my 360 has decided that sending the visual through the cable isn't worth the trouble. Needless to say I'm extremely pissed off right now.

My TV is being gay so it looks like I'll finally have an excuse to buy an HDTV for my 360. Unfortunately, untill I buy it I may have to forgo playing videogames, which is a problem since my birthday is tomorrow and I'm expecting to get Burnout Paradise and Lost Odessey. If it takes too long I'll have to wait on RSV2 as well.

Supposedly its coming out on the 18th of March, if I remember correctly. Here's hoping its better than the first one. On a different note, I've now played through Turok and it is suprisingly good. Minus the insanely long search times for matches. And finally the news that Frontlines will have 50 person online multiplayer is awesome, of course if nobody buys the game after playing through the demo then...thats kinda a moot point.

Only four days now untill Burnout: Paradise comes out and I can crash into even more s***. On a slightly unrelated note, I might actually not get grounded for my 1st semester grades! That will actually be a record for my high school career. Every other year I've been grounded from the end of the 1st quarter untill the end of the year.

So I've been playing the Burnout: Paradise demo for the last couple days and about all I can say is...damn. The crashes look amazing, the landscapes are great, and I can T-Bone my cousin at 250 mph. In addition to that, I have reached lvl 26 in Prestige mode in COD4, and the 1st semester of my senior year is coming to a close.
And if anybody knows how to put a video in a blog post, that information would be greatly appreciated.
