Giant Bomb.com
So I've been trying to get used to Giant Bomb for a day or two and I'm liking it alot so far. It's layout is pretty unique and clear and I like how you can read the latest posts from all of the boards on one page instead of having to go into sub-headings and all that. The points system for submitting new information is a bit dodgy at the moment since some of my submissions have gone through and alot of the early ones haven't, but I guess it will improve over time. I'll still visit GameSpot maybe a couple of times but if Giant Bomb stays like what it is and continues to develop then it may actually turn out better than GameSpot. I'm not leaving GameSpot yet but I'd suggest if you haven't already been on there to go on that site and look at it yourself!

School summer again/Wall-E+The Dark Knight

So I've finished another year of school again today, and only one more left to go and finally I have 7 weeks off. Not sure what to do with it. Was quite tiring trying to pass all the work in less than a month but now I can finish off some games I never finished and may consider buying a laptop or upgrade my PC with a better card or processor. Not sure, I'll probably get a job in the summer as well. Obviously I'll still be on GameSpot alot but I just brought Painkiller and I can't believe all this time I didn't buy it before its almost as good as Serious Sam The Second Encounter!

I also saw Wall-E today and I've got to admit it was brilliant! It's alot better than what is shown on the trailers and might be the best Pixar movie so far, I'd say I'd put it on par with the original Toy Story. You definatly can't miss it and I am looking forward to The Dark Knight next week have you seen the IMDB rating 9.6 and at number 3 on the top 250! Wow! Wall-E is still hanging on there pretty nicely with 40,000 votes and an 8.8 rating. Totally deserves it and would be in my top 5 animated movies too.

Back from ANOTHER holiday!
God what is it with all these holidays I'm having? This time it was 2 days in Ireland in Dublin the capital and to be honest it was really boring and I wasn't that interested in it. The best part was going home and I really disliked the Euro currency being the first time using it abroad I don't know why it just seemed like everything else was more expensive. Noticed alot of Americans there and they were pretty cool but kept saying "Awesome" on the buses so it kind of got annoying. If you find any people going into McDonald stores begging for money from you and are NOT speaking English, give them your McDonald's wrapping instead and see what their reaction is like. I've never tried it but was wondering what would happen.

Finished MGS4/Ranking The Games

Finally finished Act 5 today and wow what a game! It felt like a movie the whole time! The last boss fight is amazing and the epilogue was interesting and a fitting end to the Metal Gear Solid series. Maybe the only problem with the game is that you could beat it in about 3 hours skipping the cut scenes, but I enjoyed watching most of them so it wasn't as bad as I thought. Rounding up the score in full marks means this game is a 10/10 for me. Below is my MGS rankings and the GBC version isn't included.

1. Metal Gear Solid

2. Guns Of The Patriots

3. Snake Eater

4. Sons Of Liberty

5. Portable Ops

What do you think of my order of the best to worst games from Metal Gear Solid? What's your opinion on the best games and the worst ones?

Back From Holiday + MGS4

Damnit! When I was on holiday I brought the PS3 with me and couldn't play MGS4 on launch day because of the TVs where we were staying were not compatible with the console. Now finally back home I can play this game which will be awesome!

Another 10.0 from GameSpot? Now they're just giving them out like crazy. Two months and already two AAAAs! Wow!

Didn't miss too much from the looks of it and I got the black case over the white it looked much cooler.

My lucky friend and very quick and brief summary of holiday

Holiday was located the far south west of England. A friend came on holiday and he won £19 in a slot machine after only putting £1 in and didn't press any buttons! His quote as the collect money rised slowly for no reason was "I'm just pushing buttons randomly and have no idea what the f**k I am doing!?!?!" with a evil look from a gambler woman next to us being there for about 2 hours straight with not a single win so far. We couldn't stop laughing! He won again 3 times on a Simpsons slot machine making another £3 profit with no losses. He found a £10 note on the floor and used it to buy whisky and cider for his family.

Played mini golf and beat him by 1 point and lost to him on bowling after having too many gutter balls. We rode a kids rollercoaster like 10 times in a row and went to Cardiff to finish the holiday for one day which was awesome. Pretty much cried that I couldn't play MGS4 there so I played Resident Evil 2 & 3 to pass the time at the house we were staying at, as well as playing Pokemon FireRed and Super Mario Advance 4. Best 2D Mario by the way. Went fishing and didn't catch any fish and my friend brought a PSP lite which I was really impressed with at first but realised it doesn't come with a memory stick or a carrying case. Doh!

My blackout experience

Yesterday night I had a blackout which was my dad's mistake for a whole hour and I recorded the whole thing on my mobile and I just wanted you guys to check out the experience. In the video I'm Tom and it was literally pitch black most of the time. Hope you enjoy my experience last night the video was actually 43 minutes long but I cut it down because alot of it wasn't really needed.

My Blackout Experience

NOTE - By the way, its all dark because... well it was dark! My flash on my mobile phone wasn't working but I kind of prefer it being almost completely dark all the time because it adds effect. I've added subtitles just in case you can't understand some of what we are saying in the video.
