23 years ago at approximately 11:30 pm, the world was blessed and privileged to welcome one of the greatest and most influential beings in all of history (and alternate history) into its struggling world. No one could ever match this colossal figure's importance to culture and now, 23 years later, this hero of mankind continues to spread his wisdom, strength, and unquestionably high importance to the rest of the universe. Bless him and everything he has ever done.

Oh...and I was born too. Wait, you thought I was talking about myself? Heh...yeah, dream on. I may be great, but not THAT great.

Yeah, today marks 23 years of AK. Every time around my birthday, I look back on what I've accomplished over the year. 2012 brought me a college degree, a new home in Pittsburgh, and a flood of potential that will someday net me a solid career. Now, with 23 years under my belt, I'm curious to see where I'll go from here.

Today also marks five years counting that I've been a part of Gamespot's community. Yup, back in 2008, I began blogging, submitting reviews, and making new friends who've been wonderful commentators and fine debaters. I still remember starting out, joining the League of Reviewers union, and making some great friends who still stick around to this day. Yes, many have departed Gamespot for parts unknown, but I still see them making stealthy appearances on occasion. If I were to list all of the people who've helped me on Gamespot, I'd be here till next year, so I'm just going to move forward until the theme from Jaws starts playing me off the stage.

The beginning of this 23rd year marks a return to Gamespot. I'll be posting reviews a bit more frequently, though they will have timed exclusivity on DefaultPrime.com, as per usual. Blogs will continue, though once again, DefaultPrime.com will be where my most analytical works will be submitted. More casual content will be posted on my blog. In addition to written works, I will revitalize my Youtube channel, PostMesmeric, and begin posting Let's Plays, video content, along with goofy shenanigans that my friends and colleagues help me with. Those videos will start this spring, so remember to subscribe if you start watching my stuff and dig it.

One more thing: in typical social network tardiness, I have a Tumblr. That's usually where you'll find goofy GIF images I've posted along with dumb meme messages. I've noticed that I've been communicating on Fuse and Tumblr through animated GIFs and memes. Fun fun fun.

Even after all of this drama going on around my life, I'm happy that I've been able to grow throughout my life while also making new friends here on Gamespot. The lot of you are wild people who I'm thrilled to have met, so here's to more fun with AK on board!
