After days of playing around with some of the features on the site known as Giant Bomb, I can tell you this:
IT'S EASIER AND LESS FRUSTRATING THAN WHAT I HAD TO PUT UP WITH HERE ON GAMESPOT.
But that doesn't mean I'm abandoning Gamespot for good. Like I said in my previous blog, I'll still continue to use GS for monthly blogs and other unique blog writing. I'll also continue to be active on the unions I'm a part of on this site. It's just that GS has restrictions on what you can and cannot say expressively on forum and blog posts, as Giant Bomb gives you a little more freedom on this part.
But as soon as I understand Giant Bomb more as the weeks and perhaps months go by, I may permanately move my blogging to that site. But that won't be the case for now.
If you, my friends at Gamespot want to send me a friend invitation on Giant Bomb, that will be great.
See Ya!

Don't worry. I will also use Gamespot.
Kudos to jwallace on the info.
See Ya!
Hooray, I've made it
! My 100th blog is here and I cannot be any happier ![]()
Let's get started with the movie that everyone has been excited for: The Dark Knight.

(The Joker in Mii Form)
Heath Ledger's last acting performance as the Joker was probably the best role he played in his entire career. His portrayal of my fave villain of all time is just spell-binding. There are some parts (okay several) that had to make you laugh in an inappropriate way (what I mean on this is the dark comedy of the Joker itself). Everything about the Joker the late actor portrayed as was moving and very well done.
Okay, enough about the Joker and let's get right to the movie (no spoilers). This has to be the best Batman movie I have ever watched (beating Tim Burton's "Batman" which starred Jack Nicholson as the Joker), and probably one of my top 10 fave superhero movies ever. Non-stop action, deep suspense, and a great storyline make you want to watch this movie again.
I was gonna give The Dark Knight a 9.75 out of 10, but since this was a GREAT movie, I instead gave it a perfect 10. I would definately recommend it to anyone who is or isn't a Batman fan. Truly a masterpiece ![]()

Now that's over and out, let's get to gaming business.
I GOT AN XBOX 360!!!!!!
Yep, just got it yesterday and couldn't be happier (yay, no more playing just Wii games, but will still play them along with my new system). I had some problems setting it up on my small HD LCD TV when I unpacked it. But I got it working on my other TV set, and the menu and features was just brilliant
Okay okay, quit badgering me ![]()
The games I got for the console are:
The Orange Box (Half-Life 2, Episodes 1 and 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal!!)
Grand Theft Auto IV
I haven't tried Xbox Live at the moment, I just want to understand the interface of the system and what it does before I enter the internet territory....
--------------------------
And last but certaintly far from least: Me (unfortunately
) I'm keeping up my studying for my upcoming Humanities course this fall, but I'm having trouble getting my Art History I course. I later found out that the course I so longed to get wasn't there anymore. No, no it wasn't booked. The college just changed the course into a Humanities instead. So I'm being updated for now if anything else changes before I return to campus within the next month.
(pretty short story, eh?
)

That's all for now, See Ya!

NINTENDO
Here are the liner notes from the Nintendo Press Briefing today...
Shawn White's Snowboarding: seems interesting. now we just need a 1080 Wii game to put the balance board to good use just like this game!
Iwata talks about Nintendo and the gaming industry. He also said that "Guitar Hero 3 for Wii outsold both the 360 and PS3 versions." I doubt that, but you never know...
Animal Crossing: City Folk was unveiled. Pretty interesting info like the "Wii Speak" peripheral unveiled. Yay, we can chat on Wii!!!
Reggie comes and talks about DS and other business stuff (sales, stats, etc.)
Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Let's hope the wii controls work with this one. I'm more interested in Force Unleashed than this game.
Rayman Raving Rabbids: TV Party. I have never played the Rabbids games yet. Maybe I should try them out before playing this one.
Call of Duty: World at War. Wow! Co-op looks killer!!!
More stats... blah blah bleh...
Spore DS: Is there gonna be a Wii version as well?
The New Guitar Hero game for the DS. From what I've heard, you can play this game with the already released On Tour for DS.
Pokemon Ranger (bleh)
Holy Car-Jack, Grand Theft Auto is invading DS territory!!!! ![]()
New info on Wii MotionPlus. Better control and better feel when playing Wii titles. The sequel to Wii Sports, Wii Sports Resort was demonstrated with this new peripheral. Frisbee Dog, Water Skiiing, and Sword Fighting were among the few demos of the press conference. And this add-on to the wiimote will be included with the game or you can buy it separately. And during the skiing game, Reggie says "And that's why they call me the Regginator!" LOL
The press conference concluded with drums being played with the controller along with Shigeru Miyamoto playing some Jazz with the wii remote! This would come up with the game:
Wii Music. Miyamoto and gang introduce the game (we've heard of this game since 2006 with Miyamoto-san starting the press conference in an orchestra at their press conference unveiling the Wii console at the Kodak theater) and later demonstrated the gameplay.
And that was pretty much it. Kinda was dissapointed twice (the first being last year's press conference), give Nintendo's press conference an 8 out of 10

SONY
I wasn't able to watch the press conference today due to going shopping for my uncle as his birthday is today. But we're celebrating it tomorrow.
If anyone knows anything about the Sony press briefing, let me know here on this blog or PM me the details.
-------------------------------
See Ya!!
Before I start, something to clear up. For some reason I had a hard time accessing the Microsoft press conference here on GS. In general, I really had a hard time on this site earlier. Watched the press event on G4, pretty bad video quality, I mean it had a hard time buffering and the audio wasn't catching up.
Later I eventually accessed the press event in about 10 to 15 minutes.
---------------------
Okay, the liner notes of Microsoft's press conference at this year's E3:
Fallout 3: never played the game but this one seems promising
Resident Evil 5: Co-op mode looks killer
Fable 2: New info on Co-op mode. Definately gonna buy a 360 now.
Gears of War 2: 5 player co-op!!!!!
Business stats: blah blah..... sales comparison between PS2 and Wii... blah blah....
NBC and Universal join the Xbox Marketplace! Yay, does this mean Heroes will be DLC on the 360?!
Unveiling of the new Xbox experience: new interface this fall: channels and the new avatar system (kinda like the Miis, except it is Microsoft here). Was Rare Ltd behind this new avatar feature? (seems like it on the video of the new Xbox menus)
Xbox live Primetime. Games like 1 vs. 100 and other influenced/tv-based games will be available as your avatars play them. you win prizes by playing these games BTW.
Xbox Live Arcade: Geometry Wars 2, the new Galaga Legions, new content for Portal only on the 360, and South Park?!
Netflix is now part of the Xbox content lineup (Good move on Micro's part)
Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts (chills down the 6h05t's spine!!!)
Also, the original game will be available on XBLA pretty soon ![]()
The new Scene It game! I really wanna play this game now, and you'll be able to use your avatars for this game too!!!
"You're in the Movies": Kinda like the PS2's Eye Toy, only much better!!! BTW funny presentation at the press event for this game.
Guitar Hero: World Tour: wasn't sure about the details of this game due to the press conference freezing on me and stuff ![]()
Lips: Another great music game presented by the legendary Keiichi Yano (unfortunately the demo was blocked from the video and just saw Master Chief dancing for 3 minutes)
Rock Band 2 (exclusive, I think): Hooray, ACDC music is coming for this game (huge fan of this band)
The Final Presentation:
Yoichi Wada from Square Enix unveils 3 new RPGs.
Infinite Undiscovery, Star Ocean, and The Last Remnant were presented.
And just when you think the Microsoft press event was gonna end, Wada-san reveals one more game for the system:
That's right, Final Fantasy 13 is making its way to the 360. Even though I'm not a Final Fantasy fan, I'm actually excited for this one. And seeing the audience in awe about this on the video, the 6h05t was also in "awe"
-----------------------
After years of watching Microsoft's press conferences here at E3, this has to be their very best by far. Gonna give it a 9 out of 10. Worth watching.
(I'm not sure if I'll get the emblem for this press event since I was supposed to watch it from beginning to end. Darn you GlitchSpot
.)
See Ya! (And make sure to check out my Nintendo and Sony blogs tomorrow)
Fingers crossed to see if adding images on my GS blogs work on Vista OS
Image of Zelda Twilight Princess

Image of PS2 controller

And finally, an image of Heath Ledger as the Joker in the upcoming Batman movie "The Dark Knight"
