Politician to Police: Hooker Owes Me Money

James E. Gignac, 64, a Wood County Board Supervisor in La Crosse, WI, was arrested for patronizing prostitution on Monday September 18, 2006.  He resigned from the board the next day.

Reportedly, Mr. Gignac tried to hire a stripper, Nicole C. Vangeertruy, for sex.  When the woman came to his room she demanded $200.00 up front.  Ms. Vangeertruy then insisted Gignac wear a condom, which he did not have.  After the woman left the room to purchase a condom and failed to return, Gignac contacted police.

And as one would expect from a typically self-serving, spineless politician who cares nothing about the American people, Gignac had a wonderful explanation for his actions.  "I wanted them to know what was going on in their community," Gignac said  "I was trying to do the right thing, and I got cited for it." [1]

I don't know about you, but I would be proud to know my tax dollars were paying the salary of someone willing to make any sacrifice for the good of the community like Mr. Gignac.

Another Valid Reason to Boycott Chinese Goods

China has announced that it is killing tens of thousands of dogs to help "prevent the spread of rabies."  Government officials were sent around to murder dogs.  As if it were not already despicable enough, the executioners murdered the dogs in an absolutely inhumane method - by beating them to death with clubs.  Meanwhile, the pets' owners - be they men, women, and/or children - watch helplessly as their pets yelp and whimper helplessly as they are beaten to death.  "Dogs being walked were seized from their owners and beaten to death on the spot... Led by the county police chief, killing teams entered villages at night creating noise to get dogs barking, then beat the animals to death, the reports said."[1]

If you are unmoved up to this point, click on the following link: http://makeashorterlink.com/?N4BE2109D

Without question the above is representative of unethical, inhumane, savage people - that is, the leaders who made the decision and those who carried out the executions - who are willing to kill anything in order to atone for their own failures and shortcomings.  But, if this is the way the Chinese government opts to solve its problems then, in keeping with this method of thinking, I have the solution to their most prominent dilemma:  overcrowding.  Take all of the children under the age of 10 and round them up.  Then load them onto long-range transport aircraft for movement to the Arctic region.  There they will be dropped off so they may provide a source of food for polar bears, whose population has been dwindling in recent years thanks to that "mysterious" (at least according to the Bush administration) global warming.  That is no more criminal nor cruel than clubbing dogs to death in the streets in mainland China.  And just as was done with the owners of the dogs, we will offer to every parent whose child or children were "relocated" all of 63 cents per child.

Spokesman Li Haibo said of the decision, “With the aim to keep this horrible disease from people, we decided to kill the dogs.”  And what about the horrible disease of an inept, corrupt government?  Would it not be fair to encourage the mass assassination of government officials by stating:  "With the aim to keep this horrible disease from people, we decided to kill the government leaders."  It was reported that in 2004 there were 2,651 deaths from rabies in China.  For a country with such an overpopulation problem, not to mention a woefully disproportionate number of males to females (another problem of their own creation), I fail to see the significance.  However, given that only 3% of its dogs have been immunized, the spread of rabies is a predicament created by the government, yet they are in effect punishing the dogs for their own failure.

Perhaps Mahatma Ghandi summed it up perfectly when he said, "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated."

The Chinese government's actions validate the argument that humans are without question the most (and only) destructive organism on the planet.  We offer no benefit to the ecosystem, yet we are solely responsible for the creation of a plethora of problems.  And this is what people refer to as the most evolved species?  While we humans are at the extreme end of the spectrum, it is at the other end [of the spectrum], for we are the least evolved species on the planet.

While I do believe their actions are sometimes on the extreme fringe, PETA has called for a boycott of everything from China, an action that is both justified and reasonable.  PETA President Ingrid Newkirk said the group had "canceled all orders of merchandise it sells that are made in China."  "Will Wright, at PETA’s European office in London, said the orders were worth about $300,000." [2]  It is nice to see an organization in the West that still has loyalty that extends beyond the almighty dollar.  Obviously the U.S. government and its so called "leaders" in Congress will remain silent on the issue, for, just as they have done with other countries in the past, the government and Congress will give a pass to China on almost anything.  They gave Saddam Hussein a pass while Iraq and Iran were at war in the 1980s.  And Iran got a pass in the 1980s and 1990s, despite having been involved in numerous terrorist attacks on U.S. interests and embassies, which killed several hundred Americans.

As for the idea that mankind is the most evolved, noble being...that is but an illusion.  As the above illustrates, too often man returns neither the affection nor the loyalty shown [to them] by domesticated animals.  Destructive, arrogant, selfish, hampered by an inability to coexist with its own species, prone to violence over the most insignificant details and/or disagreements, and self-aware yet unable to change its destructive actions and behavior...by no means does that fit the description of an evolved, noble species.

Mel Gibson: Why is everyone so surprised?

So let me get this right. Mel Gibson was stopped for driving 87 mph in a 45 mph, then was arrested for DUI (this is number two), and throws a temper tantrum, during which he rambled off a rant about the "[insert a slang expletive for sex] Jews", and later asked a female police officer, "What are you looking at sugar [insert slang word for a woman's breasts]?" And people are surprised by this? Might I ask "why?"

First, Gibson was raised by a father, Hutton Gibson, who is a religious fundamentalist in every sense of the word (it's ironic how most Christians are so quick to label and point out Islamic fundamentalists, yet they fail or refuse to do the same to Christian fundamentalists). Hutton Gibson is also a wonderful example of a person whose addictive personality manifests itself in the form of religion (in simpler terms, a "religion-addict"). As for Hutton Gibson's beliefs, they certainly fall into the "extremist" category.

When asked about his opinions of the Holocaust, Hutton Gibson said, "It's all — maybe not all fiction — but most of it is. They claimed that there were 6.2 million [Jews] in Poland before the war and after the war there were 200,000, therefore [Hitler] must have killed 6 million of them. They simply got up and left. They were all over the Bronx and Brooklyn and Sydney and Los Angeles." [1] Meanwhile, the United States and the West created an uproar after Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said, "We don't want to confirm or deny the Holocaust." Later in the same interview Mr. Ahmadinejad said of the Holocaust, "I will only accept something as truth if I am actually convinced of it." [2] It would certainly seem Hutton Gibson draws on the same type of thinking about the Holocaust as Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Hutton Gibson also said of the Jews, "it's all about control. They're after one world religion and one world government." How hypocritical can a person be? First, virtually every organized religion claims to be the "true religion" and relishes in the idea of said religion becoming the world's only religion. Second, does the rise of the neoconservatives and the religious right (and their influence) within the U.S. government not qualify as an attempt to control a government?

Second, Mel Gibson, like his father, is part of the Traditional Catholics, an ultra-conservative Catholic splinter organization. And like too many self-described "Christians," he seems to spend more time criticizing others and spewing forth disdain for those who do not share his beliefs. After Frank Rich of The New York Times said that the Passion of the Christ would inflame anti-Semitism, Gibson responded by saying, "I want to kill him. I want his intestines on a stick. I want to kill his dog." [3] This from the same hypocrite who said, "Hey, I'm for love, not war." Conversely, if the preceding statement is representative of such a "good Christian," then it would seem Christianity is far from the peaceful religion that it claims to be. Judging by said statement, it would seem the peaceful Christian Mel Gibson endorses murder and the random killing of innocents in order to get to the guilty.

Similarly, speaking about the author of an unauthorized biography, Gibson said, "I don't think God will put him in my path. He deserves death." For starters, that almost sounds like a death threat - Mel, whatever happened to your 'sacred' Sixth commandment. Second, who is he to decide what another person deserves? Third, exactly how does that fit with his belief in Jesus's teaching of "turning the other cheek?"

Like most conservative Christians his views on embryonic stem-cell research and abortion contradict his views on the death penalty. With respect to embryonic stem-cell research, conservative Christians argue that destruction of such cells is tantamount to the taking of a human life. On the issue of abortion conservative Christians speak of their belief in a "culture of life" that underlies their opposition to abortion. However, despite this alleged "culture of life," they are supporters of the death penalty. Thus, it would seem they oppose the "killing" (their term in this case, not mine) of embryos and of undeveloped fetuses, but they fully support the killing of already existing humans.

Judging from the photos taken at Moonshadows, prior to him leaving and subsequently being arrested for DUI, Mel Gibson sure did look like he was getting quite friendly with some of those [female] fans. Let me guess, these were actually sisters from the convent?

Let us I consider some of the statements made during his post-arrest rants. "F---ing Jews... The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world." [5] That is quite an interesting statement, for history sure does not support such a claim. I seem to recall the Roman Catholic church as having used widespread persecution in the Crusades, the Goa, Portuguese, Roman, and Spanish Inquisitions, and the Reconquista. There were thousands of non-Christians slaughtered during each of these century-long (or longer) events. And what about the Napoleonic Wars, Bolívar's War, the Anglo-Afghan Wars, the Aceh War, World War I, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Northern Ireland conflict, the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, the Sri Lankan Civil War, the Sudanese Civil War, the Liberian Civil Wars, the [first] Gulf War (1991), the Rwandan Civil War, the Yugoslav Wars, the Congo Wars, and the Chechen Wars, just to name a few? Virtually no organized religion is innocent with respect to having been involved in the persecution of other religions, but the Roman Catholic church has, over the course of history, been one of the bloodiest religions.

And finally, one of Gibson's apologies - which, by the way, were hardly the work of Mel Gibson himself, but rather the work of the countless P.R. people whom he has hired to spin his statements and suppress his true feelings and beliefs - began, "There is no excuse, nor should there be any tolerance, for anyone who thinks or expresses any kind of anti-Semitic remark." Alright, then read no further, for there is no need to continue to read from your ghost-written apology because, as you just stated, "There is no excuse, nor should there be any tolerance, for anyone who thinks or expresses any kind of anti-Semitic remark."

And we are supposed to believe his honesty while in an intoxicated state was actually the antithesis of his true feelings, despite his having been raised by a fiercely anti-Semitic father, following an intolerant religion, and having made anti-Semitic comments and suggestions in the past...yeah, right, and Stalin wasn't a ruthless dictator, he was just misunderstood.
