The Dark Knight. It was amazing. It was definitely worthy of a MotY nomination if not winning the actual award. It was so nicely put together. Heath Ledger did so amazing in this movie and it's sad to know that I won't get to watch him in any other movie. I just can say, he picked a good one to go out on.
10/10!
Wow. Today was much better with all the on stage demo's.
First off...Brother's in Arms: Hell's Highway. It looked so amazing today with the demo being played. At one point, I believed a guy got shot in the head, and it actually blew off! I've yet to see a game this brutal in World War 2. Granted, I really only have played MoH and CoD, and those try to stray away from that. But, seeing the screens showing a German getting his leg blown off by a grenade and then watching this on-stage gameplay showing his head get blown, oh it makes me giddy.
Next, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. The on-stage demo was brilliant. I couldn't stop watching! Seeing the guy play the game made me just want to go crazy. From the lightsaber attacks and the Force powers that can be used...all just looked simply amazing. Sept 16, you better hurry up!
Resident Evil 5. Yeah, that's right. RE5. Me...interested in Resident Evil?! No way! Yes...way. Watching that demo made me question why I have never played any before. The graphics looked amazing and the gameplay with the destructible environments make this game a definite must get.
It was a good day. Fable 2 looked good too and can't wait until tomorrow.
There's some exciting news from this year's E3. Some of it not so much. It's nice to see some new Gears screens. I'm really looking forward to that game. Something unfortunate happened though. I saw just a few days ago that BiA: Hell's Highway was coming out around August 23-26ish...and now that's been pushed back to September 23-6ish. Somewhat dissappointing, because I've been looking forward to this game for quite some time now. Fortunately for me, it's only 2 months away. So not too long of a wait.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is looking amazing. I've been watching a ton of videos, trailers, and movies and such on it, and let's just say, I'm stoked for Sept 16, 2008. It's going to give me something to enjoy for quite some time. Around that same time, Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be coming out as a feature film, which is the first feature film since Revenge of the Sith in May of 2005. Exciting news all around about my beloved Star Wars.
There will certainly be another entry in no time. E3 news just keeps pouring in.
That's right guys. Italia won today in their last game in the group stages of the Euro 2008. With this win, and Romania's loss today, this seals their spot in the Knockout stages of the tournament! With goals by Andrea Pirlo on a PK and De Rossi on a free kick...the game was sealed.
Italia will play their first game this Sunday at 245 ET against the Spanish side who is looking very tough to beat with Villa at his peak in perfomance. It will be tough for the Azzuri to beat the Spainards while playing without Pirlo and Gattuso. Who are 2 of the main anchors in the midfield of the Azzuri. This is coming with no Cannavaro in the defense too. It is going to be tough for the Italian side to beat the Spanish, but I'll be rooting them on nonetheless.
Most of the games of this Euro 2008 are really enjoyable to watch. I've only found myself not interested in just a handful of games. My teams Spain and Italia are still in the running with Spain being at the top of Group B with maximum points in 2 games. They'll surely make the knockout stages. They are looking mighty well with David Villa playing at peak performance and Nando Torres looking just as amazing.
Italia had a rough first game against the Dutch losing 3-0. But in their second game against the Romanian side, they were locked in a 1-1 draw with the chance to advance to the knockout stage with a W against France in their final group game. Let's go Italia!
More thoughts when the knockout stage happens. Enjoy Euro 2008!
