  dont let them CANCEL OUR DANNY

  Butch Hartman has announced that Nick is calling Danny Phantom off after episode 53. They are also pulling the plug on Fairly Odd Parents. I am SO TOTALLY BUMMED. However, Butch has asked that we fans write to Nickelodeon and express our feelings - in polite language, please - about this decision. If enough of us do this, maybe they'll change their minds.

  It has come to my attention that you plan to end the broadcast of “Danny Phantom” with episode #53 of that series. I am writing this letter to protest that decision and to ask you to reconsider.
  
  Of all television programs that I watch, I consider “Danny Phantom” to be the very best. And that includes such popular network live action shows as “Lost” and the “CSI” franchise. The loss of “Danny Phantom” and of Butch Hartman’s other cartoon, “Fairly Odd Parents,” would leave me very much saddened. These two programs help me unwind at the end of each day and I would miss them terribly.
  
  Further, I am so intrigued by the story line and character development in “Danny Phantom” that I feel the potential loss of new episodes as though I am losing a friend. That may seem extreme to you, but I assure you that the emotion is very real to me.
  
  Finally, please consider the many fans of “Danny Phantom.” I don't know of any other show on your network that has such a loyal and intensely dedicated following.
  
  I hope you will reverse your decision and give us many fans more seasons of “Danny Phantom.”
