Well yesterday marked my 5th year as a member of GameSpot. Even though I was using this site before then. So yay...

Anyways, here is some news on me. The website I was working on came to a dead halt because it's impossible to find people to work for free on something so big. I'll look into it in the future.

Some more depressing news--No new songs, or artwork. Yup, I been busy with things and haven't found the time to finish some of my newer songs.

Here is the good news. There's a competition here in Canada. It's called the Hockey Night in Canada Anthem Challenge. Well I'm gonna give it a go, the deadline is the end of August and the prize is $100,000 plus you get your name out there. We'll see how that goes, I tried yesterday and had "Music Block" but I'll see what I can do this weekend. Anyways, sorry for not updating in awhile, hopefully I can come up with something soon.

Well I got many things on the go, I'm too busy to keep my blog updated. So I'm just letting everyone know I won't be around for awhile except for the occasional news updates.

When I get back, (which will be around a month or more) I should have plenty of news and songs for you guys to look at.

I got my Domain Name, a Host and I have found two very talented Web Developers that have just started working on the site. It's looking good, they are just as excited about it as I am.

I can't give any details away just yet. But I will be able to pretty soon, with pics of the site included. I'll let you guys know though, that it's going to be a big site, just as big of a site like GameSpot.

Anyways, stay tuned.

I'm going to be making a website, I can't discuss what it is yet. But I got some of the layout down on photoshop and the ideas written down. I know how the whole site is going to work. I'm looking for a very talented Web Developer that knows many laungages like php, perl, css, xhtml, sql, javascript.

This website is planning to generate a huge amount of money and the person who works along side with me will get his share. Also he has the freedom to share ideas.

I am currently taking architectural drafting at college. It's a 2 year course, and the first year is almost over. However, I have found out that it's not what I want to do for the rest of my life. It has some great points; it was fun and interesting for a while, but I just don't see myself doing this. Therefore, I don't plan on going back next year.

What I've always wanted to do with my life was to become an actor. However, I thought that it seemed far-fetched for me. So I decided to scrap that idea, and that's when I want to something more realistic--drafting. But there was another main factor that was keeping me from doing this--my self-confidence. It's key to have good self-confidence, and that's something I don't have right now.

My plan is to work next year while seeking help on my self-confidence issues through counseling. During all this, I will study acting at home through DVDs and Books. Then I plan to apply to the Toronto Academy of Acting. It's a 3 month course, and that's the longest one available. Also, they are now linked with Hollywood so I hope to take the course there too.

It's a long journey ahead of me and seems far-fetched, but I'm gonna go with my heart and give it a shot.

Edit: I no longer plan to go to the Toronto Academy of Acting. I plan on finding a better acting school.

I had a lot of fun with changing this song up and putting my own twist into it. I also mixed in a different Christmas song with this one, I'm sure you'll notice.

Well my next Musical Project I will be creating a Christmas Carol. So I'm going to let you guys decide which Christmas Song you want me to make.

After taking a long break from making music, I have finally made a new song. It is a dark, epic, heavy orchestra song--something new for me. I really like how it turned out, so take a listen.

I came up with a new idea for a project--create music for an existing Trailer. So I chose the I Am Legend Trailer. I created all the music in this trailer, except a few effects. I started 11AM this morning, and just got done an hour ago. So yeah, it took me a long time to do, because I not only had to create the music, I had to edit the Trailer as well.

I was working on this one all of last night and most of today. Tranquillity of Time is a calm, natural, soft rock song with bells, piano, drums, and strings.

A user here on GameSpot, visionary, recently finished creating a Master Chief Video. It's really well done and he used one of my songs for the video. The Video goes together quite nicely and there are a lot of cool effects.

Also, in the next couple weeks my website should be complete. It will either be www.danrhodenizer.com or www.danr.com. I'm not sure which I should use, what do you think? Anyways, the site will have my music, artwork and all kinds of things. I'll fill you in with more as it comes closer to being complete.

This song was inspired by the Halo music that was composed by Martin O'Donnell. It contains a couple familiar Halo riffs. Took me a lot of time to make this, and I think it has turned out to be my best song, ever.
