The game will never be the same
We all what's happened recently I felt that I may as well put a post up - though I probably won't begin pointlessly blogging again. The past events have changed my views of GS irreversibly, but I'll still carry on visiting (but my expectations for honesty and humour are lessend). Many people have already spoken/written about the whole debacle, expressing many of my sentiments, so I'll just shamelessly copy Jeff.

A Rockin' Week
Bit late with my blog, though I've been busy.
The Good:
As I mentioned a while ago, this past weekend was Download music festival in Donnington, Leicester-shire. Some of the more notable bands which were there included Dragonforce, Slayer, Megadeth, Killswitch Engage, Iron Maiden, Mötley Crüe, 30 Seconds to Mars, Linkin Park and Bowling for Soup. I saw most of those bands, and had a good time.
My £17 copy of Crackdown from eBay arrived.
I did okay with most of my work from this semester at Uni.
Sunderland just signed Greg Halford from Reading for £3 million. He's meant to be okay (bit expensive imo), but I was hoping for some better players. In Keano we trust though.
The Bad:
My shoes got pulled off when I went crowd surfing during Killswitch. Oh well, at least they were a crappy pair. Who steals shoes, really!?
I took too much stuff, so it took three trips from the car to campsite and two back when we left. And I didn't drink that much.
I'll be back working in Portsmouth this weekend, at least my 360 is there.
Still need to get a job here at home and some work experience.
I missed out on getting a Download t-shirt because they sold out of the good ones, hopefully I can get one from eBay or the official site.
The Ugly:
The showers were rubbish, campsite was dirty and toilets disgusting. but that's to be expected though.
Overpriced food and other items.

A Tense Week
The Good:
Roy Keane Championship manager of the year. Obviously.
One week to go till the end of University.
My Xbox should be back soon, hopefully by the weekend.
I did one piece of work, so thats one unit finished.
Hhhmmm, thats all really.
I guess a good FA Cup final would be nice (Man Utd to win preferably).
Oh yeah, and a Milan win on Saturday against Udinese would be cool, getting us ready to beat Liverpool on Wednesday.
Fable isn't a bad game, slightly linear though. Fable 2 for 360 should be good.
The Bad:
Some of the players linked to Sunderland recently haven't been too encouraging, but in Keano we trust ...
As the football season has almost finished, I felt like trying Football Manager for the first time. It reminds me of Excel, lots of stats to look at, lots of things to fidget with. I managed Sunderland for the first season (natch), winning the first few games - then losing 5-0. Bit wierd. So I started again, but tried to manager a bit better, and sign some players. But I lost my first few games - though things were exactly the same! What a crazy game I thought, and duely got rid.
Getting taxed, even though I'm a student. I sorted this out ages ago ...
UCL final in a week. Not sure about it still ...
The Ugly:
Got an essay for next Wednesday to do, about Spike Lee. I have an idea of what to write, though will have to try not to be lazy, leaving it to the last minute as usual. I've got a fair few books to reference, but there isn't too much written about the film so far . 3000 words too!
Two exams next week, one on Monday (which I'm not really sure about), and another on Friday which could be okay. I just have to be organised I guess.
