... it's holiday time! This time tomorrow I will be finishing packing the car to get myself to Manchester airport so I can spend a week on the island of Tenerife. Hopefully I will be able to avoid strips of bars that would only appeal to a character in The Inbetweeners and where ladies do projectile magic with ping-pong balls and will instead be sipping cocktails by the pool reading fine literature while planning the next trip. Good times.
Yes I am aware of the irony that England is currently in a heat wave and may be warmer than the sunny getaway I am headed to but that's just the way it goes. At least I will have the option to purchase a straw donkey and wear shorts without the risk of someone I know chuckling at my white chicken legs!
So as well as a couple of books (Birdsong and the second Hunger Games) I will also be playing a little DS (glare permitting) and have Infinite Space and Aliens: Infestation to play. The first I will probably never finish as, well, it's infinite right? but the second might be finished by the time my easyjet flight hits the tarmac back in blighty. It might get me in the mood for Prometheus which I am very much looking forward to, and Batman, and the Batman game, and.... shouldn't I be packing?

Although I like games I recommend you to leave your gaming stuff at home and enjoy stuff without it. This way you will see how much the world is beautiful without the virtual world. I'm just recommending this out of my own experience.
