Good, solid FPS. Adds nothing new but good fun for the price.

It's true this game adds nothing new the FPS genre, the one innovation being the shield which is a well realised concept. However, the game does get better the the more you play it, the earlier missions are a bit lame compared to the later shoot fests but I guess this helps the game's learning curve.
The 'medals' rewarded for completing certain objectives opens up more weapons and makes replaying earlier missions enjoyable.
All in all, a solid FPS that is a good blast whilst it lasts. It's not the best FPS in world, but at this price you can't really grumble.
