UT2004 is arguably the best UT. Game Types, Maps, Bots, Mutators and Weapons are quite superb. It is heaps of fun.
The multiplayer is just fantastic. There are classic game types such as Assault and Bombing Run (as well as usual Death Match, Team Death Match, Double Domination and Capture the Flag). And newer ones like Onslaught and Vehicle Capture the Flag. UT2004 has got great design in both graphics and sound. You can go straight into action or you can tune it up with the options. Even have a specific bot roster to always use. Edit their skills; edit game limits and other great features.
It has a brilliant mix of different map types too (such as tropical, cold, hot, wet, indoors, etc) as well as getting to fly in space and also drive vehicles. A whole other tactical need for fighting has been brought to UT2004. Not only infantry fighting but now there are tanks, aircraft and jeeps. And to add more quality and fun to the mix, it has some great Mods as well as a plethora of maps. There are even more game types when you look on the Internet. UT2004 has got the right stuff to make it stand above a lot of other FPS games.
UT2004 has got great multiplayer and single player action. Even when not online, you can enjoy every little and big part of this fantastic game. Whether or not you are a UT fan, it is still going to bring some joy. And remember all the extra features from people out in the community. There are great times to be had with this brilliant piece of work.
