Yes - Halo & Halo 2, Doom 3 and Farcry leave this one standing - but its still a fun game to play.
Got myself a 2nd-hand copy so didn't pay full price (and wouldn't have!!) - but its still a FPS (one of the two types of game I love to play) - the Unreal series could have done better but I'm sure they will if ever there's a III
I particulary like the split-screen co-op play that is missing from many FPS games - I like to play with my partner but too often he is sat watching whilst I have all the fun - come on developers, there's nothing wrong with 2-player co-op play GET IT TOGETHER

Unreal 2: The Awakening is one of those games that should be rented first.
