Here's a demo clip showcasing Unreal Engine 4's power. Expect the first wave of games using the new engine to debut in 2013.

Graphics engine is good. But still... *meh. Current engines is still good in my opinion. Fox Engine's graphics can do better even at a current gen console; except that it is exclusive for Metal Gear Series.
Demos usually look way better than anything ever launched with the tech.
I just hope UE4 uses better shadows than UE3... we have beautiful games that look so ugly because of the bad shadows.

Its remarkable how far video gaming has come on the consoles and this is only the beginning.

Suddenly, I don't know if my new 680 is powerful enough.......... Here's to hoping its a great looking......... easy to run engine like most of the past unreals.

@Colekern @leviathanwing have u heard about Tera or Boarderlands ? I think UE4 in not that weak !
1 Like @Xirexor @leviathanwing I've never played it, but I can already tell you that the maps don't get over 7 miles.
I try to make this simple, but it requires a little bit of knowledge in game or mod making.
Basically, both of those games individual zones (a zone is just what I'll be calling a map.) can't reach a size of more than 7 miles. After the zone reaches the max size, a new one must be created.
These "zones" aren't actually connected to each other. The game just makes them appear to be connected. In reality, the game is loading you into a new zone .
Borderlands for instance, every so often, has to have a load screen. It's impossible to get around them. You have to go through some sort of checkpoint to get the next area.
Skyrim is similar, in a way. There are still load screens when you go inside or outside. However, Skyrims outdoor areas are MUCH bigger than 7 miles with no load screens whatsoever. The entire outdoor environment is seamless.
I described it the best I can. Hope it helps.
