I sent this in a telegram to all members on July 2nd, but here it is again for new members and those who for any reason have yet to read it:

It seems as if both the Hall of the Scribes and its successor, the Fate of the Scribes, were doomed from the start. But it is summer now, and a lot of GameSpot users have a lot more free time on their hands. I'm going to use this to my advantage, by looking at popular games' user reviews and recruiting as many new, respectable members as I can. I encourage other members to do the same, but I can't blame you if you've completely given up on trying to make the union thrive. I'm just making one lastdesperate attempt to make this go somewhere, at least for the summer.

I forgot to give my thanks to you all in the telegram, so thanks to everyone for all they've done and all they may yet do,
