It also might be entirely possible because they have posted names of songs they've been listening to and a lot of them have been noise-pop like No Age. Ahhhhh

well they do that. they had 90's trio (Pablo Honey, The Bends, OK Computer) then took a break, then 2000's trio (Kid A, Amnesiac, Hail to the Thief) then took a break, then In Rainbows and this new album.

t know what the heck to p-lay my taste varies so much I would want to push the boundaries and create something different and new even if people hated it.
