Wow, are these "official" as in Nintendo released, or are they literally custom DS games? Because somebody came up with a seriously cool way to make a buck with these!
Im not sure if they are an official nintendo made product or someone made them but they are for sale and they are very expensive. They are using Swarovski crystal Nintendo DS Lite covers . And heres another one and its pink
And this other one is a new Super Mario Bors. one that is not for sale.

I like the Final Fantasy DS Lites that have been released alongside III and Revenant Wings in Japan (though I'll never be able to get one...). Considering how many unique GBA SPs were released over the past few years, I'm betting we'll see plenty of custom DSs over the next few years!
Hopefully not as expensive...going to undermine making the game "portable" for me if I pay so much I'm scared to take it out of the house!
I'm already a bit like that with standard DS Lite, its played at home a lot. When I took it with me on holiday the other week, on the bus journey to my parents, some grit or something slipped inside the case and there is a small scratch on the touch screen!!! Can't see it when the machine is on, but I know its there, and it happened within 20 mins of leaving the house. Fear has most definitely set in.
I wonder if they're actually stuck on the system, or if it's removable somehow? Though at the prices they have posted, I would think it includes the price of the system too.

Let's hope so...though it is still too expensive, yes?
Be who you are, say what you feel, b/c those who mind, don't matter and those who matter, don't mind-anonomous
Yikes, way certainly more money then i'd pay for a system. Having said that I paid over £150 for8 Japanese Game Gear games.
But aren't they retro, like in original?
i guess it does render what we are interested in to whether or not we'd go that far. That said, it is "out there" (the "custom" job) a tad too much if you ask me.
If i had the $ i would gets my truck customed

The Game Gear games I bought are original and are inmint condition. To look at them you wouldn't know they'd ever been opened (apart from the plastic wrapping being removed).
-------------------------- I'm not addicted to games, i'm simply making sure the games in my collection still work.

So they're collectables, then? Never to be used?
That's my stance Rice...just too much $. That is, of course you have it to throw around. In which case, would we be here?
