It was enjoyable. Crystal Empire and Magic Duel are still the best episodes this season, but this one was good. Applejack getting an episode that actually made her the star (for the most part) is a welcome change from last season. Plus she finally got a song. That's cool.

I really liked Applejack in this episode. How hard she worked to everything perfect, how infectiously enthusiastic and optimistic she was about the events, how broken she looked when it all fell apart. Superb characterization.

Everything else was just okay, the gags, the story, the song. I wasn't impressed.

What an awesome episode, I really liked the Song, and Applejack's efforts to make it perfect, well I can tell that almost everytime you do that it ends up like in the episode.

then the lesson is really reasonable, I hope my relatives can see that, unfortunately they never will.

and most of all, at least Applejack finally got her very own episode.

I thought it was ok. But I've never really liked apple episodes, they always rely quite heavily on morals and the actual content is always a bit 'meh'. Spike lighter was funny though
