I wouldn't call it one of Naughty Dog's better games but it's a good game for anyone who likes third-person-shooters.

User Rating: 8 | Uncharted: Drake's Fortune PS3
Uncharted is Naughty Dog's first game for the PlayStation 3, so you may be expecting something amazing like when you first popped in Crash Bandicoot into your PlayStation or Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy into your PlayStation 2. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune isn't quite as amazing as those two games nor is it as memorable, however, it is a good game all the same.

Gameplay, 8. Uncharted is a third-person-shooter that also has platforming like most of Naughty Dog's games. You have to get through groups of enemies with numbers ranging over a dozen at times using multiple techniques such as cover, running and gunning, some stealth, and good aim naturally.

The shooting part of the game is well done. Lots of guns to use. I didn't have any issues with it.

The platforming is all right, however, it pales in comparison to some of Naughty Dog's other works in the platforming aspect of the game.

Uncharted can be a little repetitive at times. There isn't a huge variety of locations, just mostly jungle. There are other areas but the game could have used more variety.

Presentation, 9. The graphics are very good. Definitely one of the better looking games on the PlayStation 3.

The music is all right, nothing special. The voice acting is decent. The sound effects are also passable.

Value, 7. Playing through the game the first time should take you 15-20 hours. The game is good enough to play again on hard.

PROS
Good gun play and decent platforming
Great visuals
CONS
Repetitive at times

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune isn't the most memorable or the greatest Naughty Dog experience out there and for those of you who don't like third-person-shooters that much I wouldn't recommend this game for you, but otherwise this game is a good experience that should keep you entertained while it lasts.
