you people should be grateful, because then they wouldn't have made UNCHARTED 2
the game startd off as you Nathan Drake supposedly a decendant of the great Sir Francis Drake, going to find a coffin of the great Sir Francis finding the diary of him and setting out to find his treasure with his tom sellick-like mentor Victor Sullivan and a hot journalist named Elena to find the one and only El Dorado which Sir Francis risked his life to protect, the story is excellently told like Indiana Jones crossed with National Treasure with big story changing plot twists at every turn and the pacing is awesome youll move to heaps of different locations before you get tired of the last area, another thing is that the controls are awesome too they are very similar to Gears of War, you have O to get in and out of cover, do cover traversals and somersaults, X does jump, SQUARE does melee, and TRIANGLE makes you replace your current weapon with the one you are near.
and obviously L1 aims and R1 shoots, with L2 uses grenades, and R2 is too reload, also obviously you use the D-Pad to select your weapon, the good things is that the platforming and jumping sections are satisfying they don't make you skitz and have one of those AAARRRRH SH*T moments and that the shooting sections and being able to take cover similar to Gears is great there is only the problem with "no not that piece of cover you dumbarse" and that enemy spawns are SO predictable, you always know when they will appear because of all these thing laying around you can use as cover and they will infuriate you when they constantly kill you in battle, which makes the game get a bit repetitive, they are smart in AI terms (storywise the enemies are stupid) they only take a few shots to kill you even on easy and there is no autoaim making it real hard to get good shots and they take way too many bullets to kill when they are twenty feet away they can take 20 AK-47 bullets before finally dying and when they on the over side of a courtyard they can take two clips full of bullets to finally kill them.
so thats all about UNCHARTED its great but not the best game to be made by Naughty Dog, but know this, if this game did not exist neither will the great sequel that was definatley one of the greatest games of all time.
