Though a bit on the short side, it's a great adventure game for the PS3.
First off, the graphics are simply beautiful in this game and it really does a great job of showing off the abilities of the PS3. Each and every section has vibrant detail which includes lots of stuff in the background as well. You can see for miles in any direction in most cases with vivid texture which adds to the realism of this game.
This game can most easily be compared to a merger between Indiana Jones and National Treasure. More like IJ in the adventure part and more like the characters from NT. Ultimately, it brings a great new adventure series to the platform that is a certain competitor with things like Tomb Raider that have been around for ages.
The overall story is a lot of fun though the game is quite short. You can easily wrap this one up in around 10 hours without a problem. Some of the firefights can be a little annoying but the game does a really good job of ensuring you don't have to repeat an obscene amount of a level if you die. Unlike some games, the balance is just right and, honestly, sometimes a little more forgiving than I expected.
This is certainly a solid series with loads of options in the future. If you haven't played it certainly pick it up and give it a spin! I'm sure you'll love it!
