Don't skip this one!
The game is totally immersive. There were times when I forgot that I was playing a game. Hours and hours would roll by without my knowing. And for me that is a big deal. I use video games to unwind and I certainly did with Uncharted. Being transported into an action/adventure movie.
I loved that there was no heads up display cluttering up the screen. It wasn't necessary and would have taken away from the beauty that is this game.
Speaking of beauty - what a gorgeous game. Seriously. I would spend quite a bit of time just walking around admiring the scenery.
The story is really fun and engaging as well. Pirates, treasure, love interests, gun play, kidnapping, plane wrecks... this game has it all. The characters became people that I cared about and really wanted to follow on this adventure. I reminded me of a Clive Clussler book.
Ultimately, the game was extremely satisfying and I am very stoked to play the sequel. One of the best games I have ever played. Don't skip this one.
