Without a DOUBT .. this is Game Of The Year 2009 and Best of SONY 2009 !
I would not like to exploit the content of the game thats y so far i been playing all the multiplayer and single player half way to avoid leaking any spoiler to any of you regarding the story ....
So far lets run through the single player ...
Pros :
Without a doubt this is the best action adventure game movie i ever play since MGS4 ... the game put u as a Drake , a normal treasure hunter where things get wrong and his entire life went wrong chasing the Marco Polo treasure .. No spoiler so far ... The single player work out as same as Uncharted 1 with nothing much change.... U may run and gun .. but the most impressive is hanging and shooting .. this has been done few by other game .. uncharted 2 put it in a good use and good way offering a total freedom of shooting without any limitation.. this way help u to quickly aim and shoot while u are busy hanging on the wall... Although i may say there aren't any much choice of a gun such as Ak-47, FAL, M4, Mp50 , and 2 shotgun and etc.. but it never deter the fun of the game .. each gun has its own fun and recoil.. is nice to hold each of the gun and sound of the gun...So as pistol have varieties of itself except grenade ... The game love to put u in a good action movie making use of good camera work like a magic making u playing in a Action adventure HOLLYWOOD Blockbuster movie.. I love how they done .. it makes a replay value on the game ... but i may afraid as most of you guys might have seen thousand of trailer in Internet about Uncharted 2 , it may actually spoilt the scene as you know what already might happen ... the gameplay element are run and shoot or cover and shoot.. it works quite well although sometime you may seem chaotic if the character doesn't actually does wat you want .. also there is also punch which Drake will able to melee them if they are near.. Enemies might counter back you if you don't counter back ... .. The Winner of Uncharted 2 are actually come from the graphic and cinematic... as they say there are no installation like MGS4 to improve graphic smooth... Naughty Dog has down tremendous work smoothing every move even the screen is fill with explosion and enemies.. its incredible .. players might actually admire the hard work of Naught Dog by looking at the view surround .. with 100% usage of PS3 cell .. everything is perfect .. I hope Naughty Dog will share their experience through PS3 with other developer to enable them to maximize the capabilities of PS3.. Everyone learn like NAUGHTY DOG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CONS :
Actually i might actually say this is a minor thing but i would like to say it out.. i have met some of the enemies actually are stun in their place and wouldn't move.. it seem like bug .. also headshot are seem hard to get .. i don know y naughty dog have done this but it juz a minor problem for those who wanted trophies for head shoot. thats all the minor problem i seen in Uncharted 2 ...
Multiplayer
PROS :
This might actually Naughty Dog first multiplayer design .. Multiplayer is a must so far this generation because it pro-long the game ....
Naughty Dog have throw in few mode like capture the treasure, elimination, TeamDeathmatch and chain reaction.. all this game mode can be find in oter online game .. i will not say the game out bec this is Uncharted 2 moment of review ... player will gain money for each kill and certain objective done like kill the person who are in streak kill.. all this money will lead you to the online shop which offers player to purchase character skin, booster (Perks), taunt and COOP online gun upgrade .Map have multilayer and big .. nice environment with good effect of the game in signle player are maintain in the Multiplayer .. snow will blow and waterfall will run down the stream.. with all this effect on a map, this may be cause of 10 player allow in a game ...
Other than Multiplayer gunning down player, u may actually work with ur fren in COOP play , to bad there are no offline game ... Player with 3 ppl will go through the same mission as in Single player but alter a bit to have a different story . Play will have fun in the game shooting down enemies with fren ..
Other than that there are horde mode which enemies will keep spawning if u don keep up with the objective ... mostly player with 3 will complete certain task like getting the treasure from the end to the other end while enemies try to stop u .... if u been team with a NOOB (Shout at him and teach him) he will or may cause ur whole game to fail.. good cooperation player with back o back will lead the game to highest stage .. so far only i wen is untill level 6 with 2 Machine guy coming ... Swt :(
CONS :
There are few dislike about the Online portion.. guns in the multiplayer are limited .. there are only few gun like Ak-47, FAL, Shotgun, M4.. weapon such as Grenade launcher, Rocket launcher, grenade, shield ... Pistol like UZi , PISTOL, desert eagle and one i cant remember .. there aren't any extra gun put in and customization like laser sight or anything... i hope there are more freedom toward the gun .. So as the matchmaking system.. y do player always have to reenter every single round to find new player .. this waste of time really pissing ppl off.i though they might actually fix this problem since the launch BETA also offer the same problem... I juz hope Naughty Dog will patch up this problem ...
OVerall this demon disc is come with multi-exrta content offering the best out of ur total money .. this disc is come in with Behind the Scene, extra, concept art .. it really worth the money spent All this extra feature really make this disc a good example to all games out there , this is how a full package should be ... but not extra money to DLing those item .. After playing the game, this will be one of your favorite game of the year !!! So get out and get this game ASAP for all PS3 user no matter what type you are ..
