oh wow can't wait for uncharted 3, this is one of the best games of all time.
if you were turned off by the first game not anything fantastic thats okay, this game fixes every problem with the first and focuses more on its strengths
the first thing youll realise about uncharted 2 is that the graphics are AWESOME its most possibly the best looking game to come out in 2009 and any year before that if you watch it in HD some of the cutscenes make you feel like your watching a movie and the gameplay looks even better.
one thing thats great in uncharted 2 thats hard to find in any other game, characterisation and humour, Nate is generally a funny guy and is easy entertaining and the developers did whatever they could to bring Nate real close to the player, and with the acception af many great and memorable characters make this a great game.
in uncharted 2 the story is a cross between Indiana Jones and National Treasure.
Nathan Drake is looking for Shangrila and the fabled Cintimani stone once told by marco polo, only to realise top of the line mercenaries are after it too, and thats all im going to say because this game is easily spoiled and its story is excellent just experience it for yourself, the story is similar to the first game which isnt a bad thing, the first game's story was good and its not rinse and repeat, its sort of the thing sequels do give a new twist on a similar story.
music is also great you get an adventurous feel from listening to the audio in this game it fits the situations perfectly.
the gameplay is good is similar to gears of war which i reviewed not too long ago you press O to roll or enter cover, hold L1 pull out your gun, aim and press R1 to fire, plus other stuff like X to jump, TRIANGLE to interact and SQUARE to melee, the theres R2 to reload and L2 to throw grenades, plus the directional buttons to switch weapons so similar to Gears of War.
so overall its an outstanding package and its definatley worth the money, in fact its worth spending $400 on, and you get a bonus and thats the multiplayer.
up to ten players can play online kinda like Gears of War 2 and is very similar in deathmatch and team deathmatch but kinda like Call of Duty you respawn a couple seconds after youve been killed rather than waiting for the last man standing, plus other matches like capture the treasure, and the uber hard co-op.
plus you can use in game money to buy skins and weapons in single player and multiplayer.
overall its one of the greatest games of all time game of the year and decade.
if you have a ps3 go buy it. if not a get a ps3 and this game. if youve already got it good on ya and if you dont like ps3 screw you.
