A superb action adventure game.
I read an interview were Naughty Dog devs were saying that they wanted to make a game with a kinda Indiana Jones + Johny Knoxville main protagonist, with an awesome story, gunfights and panic events, seriously, how this can be missed? And they succeed.
Nathan Drake is an archaeologist with no greed about money or profit, his passion is an adventure itself, he make funny jokes of any panic situations and is a luckiest guy ever.
Story:
In this game Nate and his friends will try to find Shambhala, a mythical kingdom hidden somewhere in Inner Asia. Game starts in a heart-thrilling moment, with an awesome tension, in a middle of a story, and it gives a perfect start about what your adventure will be about.
Gameplay:
Game is 3rd person non-stop action, where you will have to shoot a lot of tough guys, solve very interesting puzzles and climb along huge and gorgeous tombs and structures. All of this combined with an awesome told story, charismatic characters, amazing graphics and chicly done events.
Graphics:
A solid step after Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, everything looks much better here, one of the best looks on Playstation for sure, huge tombs and Shambhala itself forced me to stop for a second to look around and enjoy the view.
Sound:
Amazing voice acting with an awesome looking cutscenes.
Good:
One of the best action adventures out there with almost perfect everything.
Bad:
For the first time i really can't say anything here.. maybe some bugs.
As a not so intrigued with Uncharted games and a fan of Tomb Raider i should say that Naughty Dog made one of the best games out there, where almost everything done perfectly right to keep you pushing forward towards the end and have an amazing experience in gaming. I think Uncharted 2: Among Thieves deserves it's place along the best games ever done.
