Great story, but not so great game overall.

So many great things about Uncharted 2, from the story, the visuals and fantastic audio in general with some strong story telling emphasis and fantastic acting. This leads to the downfall for me, since I felt that the gameplay itself felt a little short but the experience overall it's top notch and worth your time to experience some of the best Indiana Jones knock off series, and I mean, blunt story pieces borrowed from the movie.

To me, Uncharted 2 felt more like watching a good movie than a video game since the gameplay were quite simplistic and streamlined so the story progresses on their own pace. The gunfight feels off to me and the hand combat is disappointing to say the least. The environments and animations are pretty and the game runs smoothly but my playstation froze a couple of times.

Since the game autosaves and if you happen to die you'll re-spawn not too far so it's never really frustrating and in general the games is quite too easy to have some enjoyment, bare in mind that I played the game on hard to start. Multiplayer exists and it can be fun for a little bit, but I can see how limited it is. There's a lot of hype on the series and it's not a bad game at all, it's just felt a little less of a game somehow.
