The first Uncharted was a masterpiece. It had everything what action adventure game should have. Epic characters, unforgettable adventure, stunning action, beautiful graphics and music. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves just like the prequel is one of the best games I've ever played in my whole life. Naughty Dog did something remarkable. Simple words just can't describe how Uncharted 2 is awesome. I love each and every aspect of this game and the same with the prequel. Nathan Drake is a fantastic hero. He's so funny and I love such characters. I'm really happy that he didn't lose his sense of humor. Great decision Naughty Dog!
This time Drake and his crew are on the Marco Polo's trail of the Cintamani stone. A sacred stone which possesses great power. Of course getting the stone won't be easy because there will be others who will try to kill us. I'm talking about Lazarevic – he is a mercenary, who committed many crimes. He will follow us to the very end. Our adventure leads from Turkish museum and jungle to city of Nepal and mountains and caves of snowy Tibet. We will also visit a small village in the Tibet's mountain. The action in the game is so dynamic and intense, and also the cut scenes are so outstanding, special effects are jaw-dropping that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is like an interactive movie. If it was a movie, it should get an Oscar, that's for sure. The action on the train is the best! Also the one where we have to fight with the helicopter is awesome!
What's more, The sneaking system is a lot better here. Finally, we can actually sneak up upon our enemies. We also have variety of guns, but that is what every action adventure game should have. There will be some interesting puzzles to solve and many, many platform things to do like in the first game – jumping, climbing and etc. Naughty Dog also improved hand-to-hand combat which is very cool. The truth is that each thing has been actually improved in Uncharted 2, that's amazing. As you remember, I mentioned Nath's crew and they are: Elena, the reporter and Chloe. She is very beautiful and sexy. She is helping Drake with finding the Cintamani stone and I think they did more things together than only shooting hehe. To be honest, I like Elena better although, Chloe is also beautiful. The gameplay in Uncharted 2 is perfect. It doesn't have any minuses at all. I can't believe how fantastic this game is. It's just unbelievable. When you see the ending you will surely be stunned how gorgeous it is.
The graphics are superb in every aspect. The weather effects like wind, rain and especially snow are just masterpiece. Everything look so realistic. The characters look awesome. Naughty Dog truly showed what PS3 can do. And that is A LOT.
The music is brilliant and fits perfectly. The voice-over is so professional. The actors made an outstanding job, no doubt.
Now you are probably thinking, is it possible that a game doesn't have any minuses? OH YEAH! Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is a fantastic adventure with epic characters. Game of the year 2009, interactive movie which is so immersive! A must have, because such games become legendary!
