For the people who don't have MVC3 yet, they could go ahead and buy this updated and better version, but for the ones who already own the game, this is outrageous, this is a disrespect. You're game will lose compatibility, you're game will become useless in less than one year of its release. For the ones that wanna buy the new version and have both of them, it's okay, it's great too, you have a lot of money to spend. I'd rather buy a different and more interesting game or even two... Capcom SHOULD provide a patch for the owners of the original version that would update the old version to this new version, capcom should make these new characters available for DLC to the original MVC3 version. Why they won't? Because they will make more profit this way. It's up to us decide if we agree with it. I don't, I don't even like these characters... no Cyclops and Gambit? No Ken and no Captain Commando? There's a shooting raccoon and a mad lawyer sueing people? Not to mention the old ones... MODOK, Viewtiful Joe... This isn't a fighting game, this is a comedy fighting game...

@blazon340 you may say it's inconsiderate of me to say what i did, but i stand by it. capcom is no different from square enix re-releasing the first kingdom hearts 5 times times over, just with a few tweaks to it. but that doesn't mean that it's right for them to do it. i love street fighter, mvc and tekken. i've been playing fighting games since i was 8, which is very nearly 20 years now. despite that though i don't think it's right for ANY company to keep releasing what is essentially the same game again and again. i didn't like it way back in the day, when capcom did it to SF2, and i don't like it now. that's just the way i feel about this stuff. there's no reason for you to look down your nose at me just cause i think it's cheap for them to do this. i would rather take my $40 and put it towards something i don't already own. if you want to spend $40 on another version of a game you already have then that's your choice.

I love Vergil, even more than Dante...I haven't played MVC3, but he seems a little over-powered. Maybe someone who knows the other characters well enough can correct me on this. Regardless, those are some very sick and useful moves.

I really praise Capcom for the interesting character selections. there are characters in this game I would have never imagined would be in a fighting game. I wish they would bring Amingo back though :( that was my guy right there! The level makes me shed a teas about Legends 3 (Mega Man)..I was so looking forward to that!

@chiyo18 they originally wanted to make it a dlc but the earthquake made that impossible. its a bit inconsiderate to put them down this way. The street fighter reversions are simple tradition, which why they make so many.

His massive range reminds me of Karas.

as much as i love vergil, i just don't think i can bring myself to pay another $40 for what is the same game as MVC3, just with a few extra characters and modes. all of that should have been released as dlc. instead, capcom (as always) is going to nickle and dime people with more of the same thing they released not long ago. we already have street fighter 4, super street fighter 4, super street fighter 4 arcade edition... now we'll have MVC3 and ultimate MVC3. how long will they wait before releasing ultimate MVC3 turbo? ultimate MVC3 turbo arcade edition? ultimate MVC3 turbo tournament edition? of course, the same thing will most likely happen with street fighter vs tekken as well.

I hope Vergils taunt is "Where's your motivation?" or "You are worthy as my opponent"
