Still the Ultimate
i was happy with UFC tapout for the xbox and have never needed another MMA title.
The presentation , graphic , gameplay and sound are Brilliant.
The old school UFC mode where its an 8 man tourny with introductions and the classic UFC theme is my favourite mode.
the whole presentation is impressive and way ahead of is time in my opinion , i dont see how you could improve other than going online , and by reading the Latest Ufc title Reviews , it does not seem i realy need to upgrade.
There is also a normal tournament mode witch can be played with all human players or cpu.
Arcade mode , witch is what it is just fight after fight.
The create a fighter mode goes in alot of detail for fighting styles , key strenghs,Stats, trunks ,and gear.
A little more to offer on Player models would havee been nice , rather then the same faces just slightly different over and over.
Personalised coloursa for trunks and gear would of helped, but you can still make some good looking fighters to take on UFC stars such as Tito ORtiz, Ron waterman , Mark coleman , Frank shamrock and Dan The Beast Severn , as well as other lightweight and heavyweight Ufc fighters.
the graphics are perfect , great Fighter Models and animations . The crowd is awesome , io have never seen anything like it.
The sound of grunts and pain are there with full force .
The gamplay is Great again with controlling each of your limbs with a differernt button and grappling . The Grappling for position and squirming out of submissions are smooth and fun to pull off.
Overall i dont need another UFC game until it goes online.
and it could be just like Tapout but with a better create-a-fighter selection and some limb/facial damage, and i would pay full price for it.
if you are looking for a MMA game for the Xbox and find this cheaper than Tapout 2. Without playing Tapout 2 and reading reviews...UFC tapout is still an Ultimate Fighter in the world of Xbox.
